All of this war is IMHO is the beginnings or lead-up to a
far grander and wide spread set of events. Soon more
"cannon fodder" will be needed to sustain the hacks in DC.

Remember those Kellys are Democrats F'em all.
Yet a broken clock is right 2 times a day.

There are some very solid military / economic points made in the video.

Defeating a near peer adversary now on the cheap ( relatively ) helps us vs China tomorrow. Makes perfect sense to me.

Wished we could have done that in wwii .. instead many Americans died in that one

100% yes .. this is why Putin invaded .. was not about "Ukrainians are Russians". It was about controlling the European Energy market for Russia.

Russia wanted to keep it's energy monopoly to supply the EU. If you look closely at the game to control the energy resources coming into the EU market place .. ISIS, Iraq, Syria, Georgia / Caucus, Israel vs Hamas, Saudi, Iran, Qatar .. they all play into this. Syrian Civil War helped stop a Iran natural gas pipeline to Europe. Hamas attacked helped stop Israeli - Saudi peace deal which would have enabled a Natural Gas pipeline from Qatar through Saudi Arabia and Jorden and Israel to Europe.

This energy war has been going on for a long time.

Oh, and food .. does Europe and the USA want Russia to control that much food production ??

Ukraine's history is full of wars, enslavement, and genocide due to their land and it's ability to produce food.

So, I would say Energy and Food are key aspects to the current conflicts we see.

Europe is getting rid of its energy dependence on Russia... and switching to more expensive liquefied gas from the USA. Or to Russian energy resources purchased under other schemes and at a higher price.
Europe is getting rid of its energy dependence on Russia... and is closing energy-intensive production facilities.
Europe is getting rid of its food dependence on Russia... and is actively promoting food made from insects.
Europe is getting rid of its electric vehicle dependence on China... but BYD shares are growing, and Mercedes-Benz shares are falling (by the way, I wonder why the duties on Tesla electric cars produced in China have not increased? Did the white gentleman from the White House order them not to be increased?)

And with that said Niksun, you lost all credibility with me. And as for your beloved motherland, if Russia wasn't being such a huge DICK TO THE WORLD, this....

Europe is getting rid of its food dependence on Russia...and is actively promoting food made from insects. (disturbing but its their choice)

wouldn't be happening! I know the average Russian is a hard working, country loving human being. But damn, if ya'll don't let the most murderous SOB's run your country into the ground!

This BULLSHIT in Ukraine NEVER had to happen Niksun, all because of your glorious leader, Comrade Putin.

Putin and Erdogan have "Hooks in his jaw". They can't resist the upcoming war that will swell and consume them all.
This war is not about West vs East but the beginning of the defeat of the Evil One and his followers.
Sure they will make it to Paradise but, afterwards judgement follows, and pray they are in "The Book of Life".

NYT Documents: Putin Was Willing To Compromise To End War In 2022
Didn't the NYT also claim Russian collusion with Trump ?

Honestly, I can no longer trust the NYT is doing a good job.

Russia, willing to compromise .. I do not believe Putin's "compromise" would have been good for Ukraine in the long run, just a chance for Russia to reload and build up again.

I see Putin's compromise similar to the compromise the Japanese wanted to do with the USA after Pearl Harbor ( yes, Japan did want compromise after Pearl Harbor with the USA, as they knew on a long run the USA could out produce Japan, it was just a question of if USA lost the will to fight .. and that is what they expected, that the USA would lose the will to fight after a major defeat at Pearl Harbor .. )

Im not a fan of the NY Times as you know, but I prefer to debate the facts

In April 2022, Ukraine and Russia were on the brink of signing a deal to end the war just weeks after it began. The New York Times published documents showing President Vladimir Putin was willing to make concessions to get an agreement signed.
According to the documents, Putin initially sought to have Kiev recognize Moscow’s 2014 annexation of Crimea. However, a draft agreement from April 15, 2022, suggests both parties were prepared to set aside the issue to end the conflict. "Paragraph 1 of Article 2 and Articles 4, 5, and 11 of this Treaty shall not apply to Crimea and Sevastopol," the document says.

The actual documents were published
]

My bottom line remains, we should not be there, the war was started by the US and Western Europe forcing the NATO membership idea on Putin and we toppled a government in 2014 to help move that along. Now we're very close to direct NATO/Russia engagement, which Blackrock and corrupt US politicians who used it as their laundromat, are salivating over.
I'm sick and fucking tired of sending hundreds of $billions to a Ukraine, (which has a pretty poor track record of corruption) and using it to spin up another long term war to feed Raytheon, Boeing, and others while US politicians line their fucking pockets.

USA unfortunately needs to be there .. recall ww1 ww2 .. USA started those games with
"Not our war"

As hedgemon USA has to play a bigger game than it did prior to ww1.

If people are uncomfortable with superpower status, then eventually we lose the will to carry that hat and the opponents will grab it.

Which oppoent do you want to be the hedgemon ?

Also I strongly feel

95% had Russia succeeded with a walk in the park on this one .. China would accelerate the South Seas take over and Taiwan engulfing moves.. as is China already pushing hard on those

Difference is we didn’t purposely start ww1 or ww2.
We didn't purposely start this one either ..

That noted, Nazi Germany DID blame USA, UK, France for starting WWII as did Japan .. they were forced to ..

Recall USA stopped supplying Japan with Oil in WWII .. and steel .. so Japan had to attack the USA ..
