Honestly, Putin has agency here and USA is not putting significant pressure on him.
Trump promised us he could get Peace in 24 hours .. the blame goes to team Trump 100% now.
Seriously, USA is looking super weakling now.
China does not need to give in, just wait Trump out and the bond market to crash destroying US economic power.

US economic power has been dying for quite a number of years. Biden merely cooked the books to hide it
US economy is heading for a period of major change and recession. Has ZERO to do with keeping the Ukraine war going, or Russia, or Iran, or N Korea. Has some dependency on China but again that’s a symptom not a cause of US economic problems. 32$ Trillion in debt is. We have plenty of problems, almost none of them have much to do with Ukraine.
Ukraine has no path to taking back Crimea or winning without the US getting directly involved and risking a true hot WW3. I hope we won’t go there .
Never said Russia has no part in things. But as the post says, each time there is a hint of any peace plan that doesn’t include Ukraine taking back all of its original borders the little crackhead heads it off before it can get started. He doesn’t want to negotiate.
It’s obvious to anyone not emotionally attached to continuing a losing war that Zelensky has become the biggest impediment to a negotiated peace. Even the Euros are backing off.
The ship has sailed regardless of who one wants to make the good guy/bad guy.
