Italians Elect Right-wing Coalition; US MSM Loses their Collective Sh*t

Right-Wing Coalition Wins in Italy, American Press Loses Its Mind
redstate.com/bonchie/2022/09/25/right-wing-coalition-wins-in-italy-american-press-loses-its-mind-n632745

Italy held its national elections on Sunday, and the results already have the global left seeing red. Exit polls show that the right-wing alliance will win a sizable majority, with a government formed behind Giorgia Meloni as Prime Minister.

Meloni will be the first woman in the country’s history to hold the position.

Italy: Exit and Instant polls show that the right-wing electoral alliance formed by FdI (ECR), LEGA (ID), FI (EPP), and NM (EPP) could win an overall majority of seats in both houses with 55-64% of seats.

So who is Meloni? She’s the leader of the Brothers of Italy party and a populist firebrand. Here’s a 30-second video that provides a good summation of her viewpoints.

"Yes to natural families, no to the LGBT lobby, yes to sexual identity, no to gender ideology, yes to the culture of life, no to the abyss of death, no to the violence of Islam, yes to safer borders, no to mass immigration, yes to work for our people”

— Ryan James Girdusky (@RyanGirdusky) September 25, 2022

Naturally, someone who has those political views must be evil, at least according to the American press. As election day approached and it looked more and more certain Meloni would triumph, the fearmongering was turned up to the max. CBS News did a report accusing her of being a fascist because that’s the only insult they know.

Voters in Italy appear poised to elect a far-right prime minister tomorrow
— Giorgia Meloni, the woman expected to win, leads a neo-fascist movement, reminiscent of Benito Mussolini’s political party. pic.twitter.com/AzaD9SMRZC

— CBS Evening News (@CBSEveningNews) September 25, 2022

Meloni does not lead a “neo-fascist” movement. Is she “far-right” in the European sense? Sure, she is, but that doesn’t make her a fascist, and as far as I can tell, none of her proposed policies are fascist. They may make those on the left upset, especially regarding immigration and LGBT stuff, but that’s not the standard for fascism.

Ironically enough, American Democrats base their accusations on the fact that Meloni’s party has its historical roots in turn-of-the-century fascism in Italy. Of course, the problem with that is obvious. The Democrat Party was the party of slavery and Jim Crow, and it remains a party of mass death regarding abortion. So if the assertion is that a political party with a checkered history is unacceptable, then the Democrats might as well close up shop, otherwise, they are just massive hypocrites.

They won’t, though, because they genuinely believe they are more enlightened than their political opponents. If you don’t want kids being sexualized by the LGBT lobby, then you must be a fascist. If you don’t want unlimited how the game is played, and it’s all meaningless at this point. No one takes the left’s rantings seriously.

Regardless, what has been made clear over the last year is that Europe is shifting. Right-wing governments are talking power all over the continent, and that’s because the left overplayed their hand. They thought they could usher in an era of deranged cultural decadence coupled with economic malaise without consequences. Voters have different ideas.

The only other person I know that may be as big a prevaricator as Drump, Tucker Carlson

Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, the Democratic nominee for Senate, on Sunday fired back at Fox News host Tucker Carlson over comments mocking his tattoos during a show earlier this month.

“All your stupid little fake tattoos, it’s a costume, of course. Duh, it’s not real,” Carlson said of Fetterman during his show’s opening monologue on Sept. 7, when he portrayed Fetterman as weak on fighting crime.

Fetterman, in an op-ed for NBC News, called the monologue “unhinged” and explained how the nine tattoos on his right forearm indicate the dates when someone died violently in Braddock, Pa., while Fetterman served as mayor.

“Gun violence and violent crime might be a joke to someone like Carlson, but they are very real to people in towns like Braddock,” Fetterman wrote.

We've already reviewed a few of these stories. Still some great information from Sidney and DTR.
Notice the key phrase below "a script for a movie".
Kinda makes ya wonder, don't it?

A new and better way is just around the corner

Dear Patriots,

It sometimes seems that we are quietly biding our time until November 8. When, hopefully, there will be a massive explosion of dissatisfaction, anger and frustration manifesting in massive turnout on voting day, resulting in undeniable wins up and down all ballots in all states for strong America First candidates. At that point we may be in a position to stop the madness that escalates hourly. Continue sharing information and pray.

Pray this week for those being targeted by the police state in America and around the world.
Pray more people will become whistleblowers.
Pray more evidence of election fraud will be revealed.
Pray those we elect will move quickly and firmly to set a new and better course.

FBI raids home of Catholic pro-life speaker, author with guns drawn as his terrified kids watch

QUOTE: A well-known pro-life author, sidewalk counselor, and father of seven was the latest victim of a U.S. Department of Justice-sponsored SWAT raid and arrest — for supposed "FACE Act" violations — at his rural home as his children looked on "screaming."

Mark Houck is the founder and president of The King's Men, which promotes healing for victims of pornography addiction and promotes Christian virtues among men in the United States and Europe.

According to his wife Ryan-Marie, who spoke with LifeSiteNews, he also drives two hours south to Philadelphia every Wednesday to sidewalk counsel for six to eight hours at two different abortion centers.

Ryan-Marie, who is a homeschooling mother, described how the SWAT team of 25 to 30 FBI agents swarmed their property with around 15 vehicles at 7:05 a.m. this morning. Having quickly surrounded the house with rifles in firing position, "they started pounding on the door and yelling for us to open it."

Before opening the door, she explained, her husband tried to calm them, saying, "'Please, I'm going to open the door, but, please, my children are in the home. I have seven babies in the house.' But they just kept pounding and screaming," she said.

When he opened the door, "they had big, huge rifles pointed at Mark and pointed at me and kind of pointed throughout the house," Ryan-Marie described.

When they came in, they ordered the kids to stay upstairs. "Our staircase is open, so [the kids] were all at the top of the stairs which faces the front door, and I was on the stairs as well, coming down."

The warrant charged Mark with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, due to a claimed "ATTACK OF A PATIENT ESCORT."

Since the Biden administration has taken power in January 2021, Garland's Department of Justice and the FBI have committed dozens of SWAT team raids that have been characterized as a political "weaponization" of the federal agencies against pro-lifers, Trump supporters, conservative Christians, and medical freedom advocates.

2- These FBI whistleblowers better man up a lot faster. It is wonderful that Mr. Seraphin has spoken out, but we need 1,000 whistleblowers to step up.

FBI Whistleblower Reveals Widespread Disgust Inside Bureau In Bombshell Bongino Interview

QUOTE: An FBI whistleblower warned that the bureau has been transformed from a law enforcement agency to an intelligence-gathering operation that spies on law-abiding Americans to help advance a political agenda and said thousands of agents and employees feel betrayed by the bureau's leadership.

Kyle Seraphin told podcaster and radio host Dan Bongino over a bombshell, two-part interview that agents are routinely directed to spy on Americans with little or no basis, the bureau's management ranks are hopelessly politicized by inexperienced corporate climbers, and that hundreds of experienced agents are staying on despite their disgust simply to collect their pensions.

"The number of guys who say, 'I don't agree with what's going on here, but I've got three years to retire,' it's heartbreaking," said Seraphin, a five-year veteran and former Air Force member who is currently suspended without pay and unable to seek another job without quitting or getting the FBI's permission.

Seraphin said he believes he was already a marked man inside the bureau for refusing to get a COVID vaccination after having contracted the virus in late 2020. He was given a religious exemption, but he helped organize as many as 300 FBI employees who also objected to the government mandate.

Bongino praised Seraphin for coming forward and predicted that the whistleblower floodgates will open at the FBI.

"Having worked with a number of patriotic FBI professionals in the past, I knew it was only a matter of time before patriots like Kyle stepped forward to expose the unfortunate rot at the Bureau," Bongino, a best-selling author and former U.S. Secret Service agent, told The Daily Wire.

3- You may think this story is actually a script for a movie as it is almost unbelievable. Normally, this would be behind a paywall at the LA Times but at the moment it is available. Be sure to read it all and pass it on.

It is another example of an out-of-control government police agency violating citizens constitutional rights and lying to judges.

FBI misled judge on Beverly Hills seizure warrant

QUOTE:
The privacy invasion was vast when FBI agents drilled and pried their way into 1,400 safe-deposit boxes at the U.S. Private Vaults store in Beverly Hills.

They rummaged through personal belongings of a jazz saxophone player, an interior designer, a retired doctor, a flooring contractor, two Century City lawyers and hundreds of others.

Agents took photos and videos of pay stubs, password lists, credit cards, a prenuptial agreement, immigration and vaccination records, bank statements, heirlooms and a will, court records show. In one box, agents found cremated human remains.

Eighteen months later, newly unsealed court documents show that the FBI and U.S. attorney's office in Los Angeles got their warrant for that raid by misleading the judge who approved it.

They omitted from their warrant request a central part of the FBI's plan: Permanent confiscation of everything inside every box containing at least $5,000 in cash or goods, a senior FBI agent recently testified.

The FBI's justification for the dragnet forfeiture was its presumption that hundreds of unknown box holders were all storing assets somehow tied to unknown crimes, court records show.

It took five days for scores of agents to fill their evidence bags with the bounty: More than $86 million in cash and a bonanza of gold, silver, rare coins, gem-studded jewelry and enough Rolex and Cartier watches to stock a boutique.

The U.S. attorney's office has tried to block public disclosure of court papers that laid bare the government's deception, but a judge rejected its request to keep them under seal.

The failure to disclose the confiscation plan in the warrant request came to light in FBI documents and depositions of agents in a class-action lawsuit by box holders who say the raid violated their rights.

Flint, Mich. Clerk Resigns After Elections Group Calls Out Lopsided Number Of Democrat Poll Watchers

QUOTE: Flint, Michigan's longtime city clerk is retiring after an election integrity group sent a letter to her office demanding she balance out the number of Democrat and Republican election inspectors.

On Sept. 6, Pure Integrity Michigan Elections (PIME) and attorney Erick Kaardal of the Thomas More Society sent a demand letter to Flint and City Clerk Inez Brown threatening legal action if they do not balance out the number of partisan poll watchers before the November general election. As previously reported, during Flint's Aug. 2 primary, the city hired 422 Democrats compared to just 27 Republican election inspectors — in direct violation of a Michigan state statute that requires equal representation of party election inspectors.

On Sept. 8, Brown, after serving as Flint's city clerk for 25 years, abruptly announced her resignation effective Sept. 30 — roughly one month before the November election. Brown gave no reason for her resignation and caught city officials by surprise.

Upgrading election management system approved

QUOTE: The Washington County, Wisconsin, Executive Committee voted to upgrade the county's election management system, and to do a full recount of select state and federal elections, during their meeting on Wednesday.

"What we're looking at doing is beginning to program all of our elections here, in-house, rather than contracting with [Dominion Voting Systems] as we have in the past," said Washington County Clerk Ashley Reichert.

According to Reichert, her predecessor had previously programmed the election machines used by the county in-house, until April of 2016 when they had decided to switch to Dominion voting machines and contract the work out through Dominion.

The committee voted unanimously to approve the use of up to $75,000 in strategic priority funds to upgrade the county's election system management software.

The committee then voted on doing a full recount by hand of the governor, lieutenant governor and U.S. senator elections in the general election on Nov. 8.

Texas Democrats Paid Homeless Man to Falsify Ballots: Police Body Camera Footage

QUOTE: "Each time I get someone to sign they gave me $200... One day I got like $1200... I did it for like six months... Deborah [Peoples] gave me cash... Stuart [Clegg] gave me cash."

Deborah Peoples is a former Tarrant County Democratic Party chair and two-time candidate for Fort Worth mayor. After two runs for Fort Worth mayor, Deborah Peoples, 69, is ready for her next chapter as Tarrant County judge.

She is challenging Republican Timothy O'Hare to succeed the retiring Glen Whitley as the highest elected official in Tarrant County. But there's one major problem.

Last week, The Gateway Pundit released police body camera footage that shows an officer talking to a homeless man named, Charles Jackson, a felon previously convicted of voter fraud in 2019, who claims Deborah Peoples and her associate Stuart Clegg paid him $200 for every ballot that he fraudulently acquired from elderly voters.

Furthermore, Jackson claims that he filled out ballots "five days a week" for "six months" and that Deborah and Stuart paid him on average "$900 to $1200 a week" in "cash" including "bonuses" and a "moped" for ballots that he voted "all Democrat."

The footage was released last week, but the corporate media has been completely silent about the video, and Deborah Peoples hasn't even put out a public statement in response.

ABC Poll: Republicans Up 21 Points on Dems in Battleground Districts

Republicans hold a 21-point lead in battleground House districts on a generic congressional ballot as the party seeks to regain control of the chamber in November's midterms, a new poll found.

Among people living in congressional districts that are rated as at least somewhat competitive by ABC's FiveThirtyEight, registered voters favor GOP candidates 55% to 34%, ABC News/Washington Post poll results showed.

That Republican lead is almost as big as a plus-24 advantage in solid GOP districts. Democrats lead by 35 points in solid blue districts.

Overall in House races, registered voters favored Republicans 47% to 46% – historically not enough to prevent typical first-midterm losses by the sitting president's party.

One likely voter model has a 51%-46% Republican-Democratic split, said Langer Research Associates, which conducted the poll for ABC News.

The GOP also is favored with three of the four most important issues heading into the midterms.

The economy (84%), education and schools (77%), inflation (76%), and crime (69%) rated as the four most important issues to voters. Republicans were considered the party more trusted to deal with the issue with the economy (plus-16 over Democrats), inflation (plus-19), and crime (plus-14).

The GOP earned its biggest lead in handling crime in 30 years as the issue has surpassed abortion among concerns for Americans.

Democrats held a plus-6 rating in addressing education and schools.

It was little surprise that President Joe Biden's party also was considered the party more trusted to address abortion (plus-20) and climate change (plus-23), though those issues were ranked Nos. 5 and 7 among the top seven by voters.

Immigration (61%) came in as the No. 6 most important issue. Democrats held a 1-point led as being trusted to handle it.

Clinton Foundation Auditor Sanctioned – Numerous Material Issues Including the Clinton Foundation and Its Auditor Ignoring $483 Million Error

Arkansas Sanctions Clinton Foundation’s Auditor in Landmark Case

The Clinton Foundation is America’s largest unprosecuted racketeering and charity fraud case. Investigations of the Clinton Foundation, shelved by the corrupt and partisan DOJ, FBI, and IRS leadership, demonstrate a two-tier justice system with exemptions for the political elite.

The only remaining pathway for due process was petitioning the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy to enforce AICPA professional standards against the Foundation’s former national audit firm BKD, LLP (BKD has since merged with another national firm forming Forvis, LLP).

BKD issued slapdash audits and tax returns (under penalties of perjury) for 13 years. By dismissing AICPA professional standards and IRS compliance, the firm created a veneer of legitimacy for the Clinton Foundation. BKD’s main fiduciary obligation is to serve and protect public interest, not the Clinton Foundation.

I filed a complaint with the Arkansas Board against BKD, LLP. The complaint (59 allegations), relying on public documents, charged BKD with professional misconduct and failure to comply with the following AICPA standards and the IRS Code. The complaint’s primary focus is the Clinton Foundation’s 2011 amended IRS Form 990 tax return dated November 16, 2015, and the underlying 2011 audited financial statements.

The firm filed a condescending and indefensible response dismissing the allegations and smearing me as a “conspiracy theorist.” The reply crossed a bright-line including a veiled threat of AICPA disciplinary action against me. BKD’s Chief Operating Officer Eric Hansen served at the time as the AICPA Chairman.

Rampant Irregularities

The complaint covered substantial irregularities and documented a culture of deceit, with the more flagrant irregularities abstracted below.

Trustee Oversight & Control Failures

The Foundation’s Board of Trustees engaged Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, LLP, to review its “decadal” (Or is it decadent?) governance. Their report was issued in late December 2011. WikiLeaks released the draft document widely covered in media outlets. The governance review found severe organizational and internal control weaknesses jeopardizing the Foundation’s tax-exempt status. Why did BKD ignore the flashing warning signals?

Material Errors and Omissions in 990 Tax Returns

Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential run caused the Foundation to evaluate, amend, and refile its tax filings for 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 on November 16, 2015. The justification was to disclose foreign government grants and the Clintons’ paid speeches on behalf of the Foundation because the few lines on the returns were previously left blank. Foundation President Dr. Donna Shalala’s issued a logic-defying press release that the Foundation exceeded all legal tax requirements and “that the errors did not require us to amend our returns.” The accounting fees for 2015 were a staggering $2.7 million suggest otherwise.

I compared the original returns line-by-line to the amended returns. The reconciliations found extensive and material revisions of over 200 items each year. Substantial changes occurred in the reporting categories in the Balance Sheet, Statement of Functional Expenses, and Revenue Statement. These changes required the Foundation to reissue the consolidated financial statements or compulsory for BKD to rescind its audit opinions; however, neither happened. The Foundation routinely restated its financial statements; for instance, the reissuance of 2010 due to offsetting marginal errors of just 2.2% of revenue and expense.

“Attorneys and accountants should be the pillars of our system of taxation, not the architects of its circumvention” – Former IRS Commissioner Mark Everson

Marked Up CF 2011 990 Tax R… by Jim Hoft

BKD Prepared and Audited Foundation’s Financial Statements

The Foundation’s Management Representation Letter included a disclosure that BKD prepared the financial statements. BDK violated independence, integrity, and objectivity ethical standards by compiling and auditing the Foundation’s financial statements.

Massive Accounting Errors

The Foundation’s agreement with the World Health Organization’s Unitaid was to purchase reduced-priced medicines as an agent. The Foundation’s Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) subsidiary negotiated for reduced-priced drugs with Unitaid advancing funds to CHAI to pay for the purchases shipped overseas by pharmaceutical companies.

Accounting principles required the funds to be held in an escrow account; however, CHAI booked the Unitaid advances as charity revenue and payments as program expenses. CHAI replaced BKD in 2012 with Meyers Hoffman McCann P.C.. Meyers firm corrected the flagrant accounting error for 2011 by restating CHAI’s financial statements and tax return. BKD ignored the restatement when it compiled and audited the 2011 and 2012 consolidated financial statements.

The accounting error from 2006 through 2011 totaled a whopping $483 million overstatement of revenue and expense. The Foundation and BKD never disclosed the monumental blunder, which grossly overstated its consolidated charitable activities and possibly concealed the diversion of funds.

CHAI Restatement for Accounting Error by Jim Hoft on Scribd

Gross Overstatement of Library’s Construction Cost

The reported historical construction cost of the Clinton Library is $171.3 million or $1,332 per gross square foot. The Library cost is scandalously high when compared to equivalent high-quality Little Rock commercial buildings. The Heifer International and Arkansas Study Institute construction cost per gross square foot is $198 and $238, respectively, a flashing warning sign of possible construction fraud.

The FBI’s Matt Gaetz Operation Sidelined An Effective Republican Voice At A Crucial Time. That Was The Point.

Gaetz was a highly effective member of Congress. Then all that changed with the publication of an anonymously sourced report accusing him of possibly being a child sex trafficker.
...
Prior to March 2021, Rep. Matt Gaetz was known for prominently pushing against Beltway groupthink.

The colorful Florida congressman had been one of the few Republicans to help win the public relations battle against the Russia collusion hoax, the conspiracy theory that President Donald Trump had stolen the 2016 election by colluding with Russia.

When Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., held secret hearings, selectively released information, and lied about coordination with the so-called whistleblower during the Ukraine impeachment hearings, Gaetz led a group of Republican congressmen in protest. The move, which enraged the corporate media and other partisans, helped unify Republicans in their eventual defeat of the impeachment stunt.

Following the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol, Gaetz defended concerns about election integrity, reminded Democrats of their support of nationwide riots the preceding summer, and criticized media and political overreaction to the rioters. He remains one of the very few Republicans to focus on the plight facing the men and women the Justice Department is targeting, just years after the department largely ignored the destructive nationwide riots that besieged the White House, federal courthouses, police precincts, and national monuments.

When Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., received praise from Beltway insiders for leading a small group of Republicans to join the Democrats’ second impeachment of President Trump, Gaetz immediately went to Wyoming to rally Republicans. The two had repeatedly sparred over Cheney’s support for lengthy and poorly managed foreign wars that Gaetz said did not serve American interests.

“We are in a battle for the soul of the Republican Party, and I intend to win it,” he said at a Jan. 28, 2021, rally in Cheyenne, long before she would be ousted from her leadership position in the House Republican conference. “You can help me break a corrupt system. You can send a representative who actually represents you, and you can send Liz Cheney home — back home to Washington, D.C.” Harriet Hageman delivered a humiliating primary defeat of Cheney less than two years later.

Gaetz was a frequent fixture on television, reportedly averaging 87 minutes a month on air during the 12 months prior to the end of March 2021. He was even considering leaving Congress to take a job as a cable news host.

Then on March 30, 2021, all that changed with the publication of an anonymously sourced report accusing him of possibly being a child sex trafficker.

A group of New York Times reporters who won awards for their roles pushing the Russia collusion lie penned an anonymously sourced article with a devastating headline: “Matt Gaetz Is Said to Face Justice Dept. Inquiry Over Sex With an Underage Girl.” The story was sourced to “three people briefed on the matter,” none of them identified in any way. The story contained no evidence against Gaetz of sex crimes, but much guilt-by-association. Late in the story, the pack of reporters admitted that no charges had been filed and that the “extent of his criminal exposure is unclear.”

Gaetz strenuously and immediately asserted his innocence and denied the accusations.

The Damage Was Done..

Washington, D.C. – While on the campaign trail, Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman claims he was “very successful” in reducing crime when he was mayor of Braddock, PA. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, according to publicly available data, crime SKYROCKETED in Braddock while Fetterman was mayor. And, in 2019, the first year in over a decade that Fetterman was not mayor, Braddock’s crime rate dropped by 61 percent.

Fetterman brags like Braddock is some major city. The last census has about 1900 people living there. There are several High Schools in my area that have greater populations! I live in Warrington TOWNSHIP PA with a population of 24,000. Adjoining Warminster Township has 32,000. The closest place nearby to a city is Doylestown. It has over 8,000 people and is considered a Borough.
Being Mayor of Braddock doesn't compare to running the WWAA(Warrington/Warwick Athletic Association) Little League which had over 2000 players! Being mayor of Braddock was so inconsequential it is considered a PART TIME job paying just $150.

Enough of the Braddock MYTH already.

Biden Repeats False Claim About AR-15 Bullet Velocity In Call For Ban

President Joe Biden’s claim that AR-15s fire bullets at a velocity that is five times higher than that of other guns is being shot down by people who know guns.

Biden repeated the claim Friday in a speech to the National Education Association teachers union, even though it has been repeatedly debunked. Several rifles and even some handguns fire bullets at a higher velocity than the 2,700-3,100 feet per second of AR-15s.

“The speed of the bullet is five times that that comes out of the muzzle of most weapons,” Biden said, describing the popular hunting rifle as a “weapon of war.”

Although some mass shooters, including the Uvalde and Buffalo killers from earlier this year, have used AR-15-style rifles, most murders are committed with handguns. Advocates of more restrictive gun control laws describe AR-15s and AK-47s as “assault rifles,” although there is no technical definition for the term.

Biden has often repeated the claim that AR-15s shoot bullets at higher velocities than other guns. Earlier this month, The Washington Post reported that Biden had “bungled the statistic” after he made the same claim in late August.

“Biden was clearly wrong in his statement this week,” the Post wrote.

Biden has made other false claims about guns and the Second Amendment. In May of this year, he claimed that when the Second Amendment was enacted, it did not allow people to possess certain weapons.

“And I might add: The Second Amendment, from the day it was passed, limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own,” he said. “You couldn’t buy a cannon.”

Historians pointed out that there was no truth to the claim.

AR-15s do fire bullets at high velocities, but nowhere near what Biden claimed, according to ballistics experts. When they exit the barrel, AR-15 bullets are traveling at about twice the speed of bullets fired from a typical handgun.

The White House is pushing hard for new gun control measures ahead of the midterm elections. Vice President Kamala Harris called for a ban on assault rifles.

“Do you know what an assault weapon is?” Harris said in May. “It was designed for a specific purpose, to kill a lot of human beings quickly. An assault weapon is a weapon of war, with no place, no place in a civil society.”

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley wrote on his blog that banning one particular type of gun would be problematic for courts if it cannot be established that the particular gun is no more powerful than others.

“There are good-faith arguments for gun control, including arguments that the Second Amendment does not create an individual right to bear arms,” Turley wrote. “We should continue to have that worthy debate but we should follow the rule of the late Sen. Patrick Moynihan that ‘everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.’”

Why President Trump Can Share Classified Information If He Wants

When the Washington Post reported on Monday that President Donald Trump had shared classified information with Russian officials during a meeting at the White House, the White House response was to deny that any military details had been shared that weren’t already known — even as the President attested on Twitter that he had the “absolute right” to share facts with foreign officials.

Whether or not the President did share information that others would want kept secret — a possibility that Russian media downplayed even as outlets like the New York Times continued to add details to the story, such as information about the Israeli sources of the intelligence — he’s basically correct that he could share such information if he wanted to.

The reason, says Timothy Naftali, Clinical Associate Professor of History and Public Service at New York University and former director of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, goes all the way back to the Constitution and the basic structure of power in the United States.

“The president is the ultimate authorizing authority,” as he puts it.

Donald Trump, Russia and the President's Power to Declassify | Time

Comment: Note the date of this TIME article: MAY 16, 2017. I wonder if the FBI scooped up a copy of this article in the Mar-a-Lago Raid.

Also this: A concise explanation of what’s going on can be found in this 1974 Indiana Law Journal article about executive power and national security, by Charles R. Nesson: “Technically any official has authority to declassify any information classified by people subordinate to him. Thus when the President speaks, whether to the nation, to a reporter in private, or to a friend over cocktails, he automatically declassifies as he goes. There is no procedure, no paperwork. The same is true for other officials so long as they do not stray from the pyramids of classified information which have been generated beneath them.”

Cost of charging an electric car surges by 42% - with prices nearing the same as petrol

The cost of charging an electric car using public charge points on a pay-as-you-go basis has risen by 42% in just four months, according to the RAC.

The motoring group said the average price for using the chargers has increased by 18.75p per kilowatt hour (kWh) since May, reaching 63.29p per kWh.

The latest figures show a driver exclusively using rapid or ultra-rapid public chargers pays around 18p per mile for electricity, compared with roughly 19p per mile for petrol and 21p per mile for diesel.

The rise has been blamed on the soaring wholesale costs of gas and electricity.

RAC spokesman Simon Williams said: "It remains the case that charging away from home costs less than refuelling a petrol or diesel car, but these figures show that the gap is narrowing as a result of the enormous increases in the cost of electricity.

"These figures very clearly show that it's drivers who use public rapid and ultra-rapid chargers the most who are being hit the hardest."

The Stock Market is going even lower. For those of you without a cushy government pension how's your 401K doing under the biden?

Much of this could have been majorly alleviated. And we would have created 10's of Thousands of good paying jobs.

Firstly, we could have ramped up Oil Production in the USA far beyond what Trumps accomplished. Finished that pipeline from Canada. And we could have been selling oil and natural gas to the nations that ally with us as to offset their pain from the bogus 99.9% survival rate virus.

Not followed the biden's "we must suffer our part" plan.

We should have had world leaders that got all people of the world through this with as little pain as possible. And the USA could have played a huge roll by producing a ton of inexpensive energy.
