The bomb on that truck was timed to explode when the train carrying fuel was passing by.
Funny thing is the truck was inspected by just opening the trailer door, the person who inspected didn't spend much time to inspect the trailer.
All it takes is one small box of C4, hidden among the other cargo. Every ukrainen official was threatening to attack the bridge, so any smart russian should have used bomb sniffer dogs.
THIS is the moment President Zelensky taunted Vladimir Putin with a mock weather forecast after the despot’s favourite bridge was wrecked in a huge bomb blast. On Saturday, Putin’s £3.2…
I would not doubt for one moment that the USA is effing with Russia.
It doesn't seem to me that a truck bomb can cause that kind of damage from the surface. That was one hell of an explosion to cause that damage. We've been waiting for that bridge to be targeted but it was said the Ukrainians lack the firepower needed from their current proximity to the bridge. And, supposedly the Russians heavily guarded the bridge with anti-missle defenses.
I'm not convinced it was the truck that was the source of the explosion. The center of the initial explosion seems to be closer to that camera than the truck was. The truck was climbing the hill of the shipping access but the explosion seems to have happened at the base of that hill. I'd tend to think planted charges or a missile strike. Either way a bad day for PooTin and the Russian armed forces.
To Sybertiger's point of the bridge being defended, I've seen videos of all kinds of defenses around and along that bridge but none of that is visible in the videos, either from on the bridge or from shore based observation points. Kind of looks like complacency is another contributing factor.

I didn't even know fluoride was in our water...I always get it after my cleaning at the dentist, now yearly, use to do it every six months, but now with no Dental Ins. people will have to put up with my bad breath
I feel for you guys in Cali, our grand daughter, as of the beginning of this year, took a job in San Fran., at one point they were double our prices. We paid $2.79 last week, though now it is going up over $3 a gallon.
I am in the habit of keeping gas receipts, started it many decades ago for business, now I just keep them in case I get bad gas somewhere but don't really have to anymore since we pay with CC most of the time now. Anyway, I found a $2.04 a gal. gas receipt during Trump years. I believe we were under $2 at one point but haven't found that receipt yet.
