US Elections (& Politics) :)

@bigredfish @Sybertiger interesting article and responce. I've always assumed America wants to remain No. 1 but some posts back with @Smilingreen i came to the realization that might not be the case so i wish to pose a question for you all that is obviously not easily answered, multifaceted and emotive given the current climate.

Would the America people be happier with a position less than No. 1 in the global order?

If this happens, and there is no solid proof as to why, SHIT IS GOING TO HIT THE FAN.
Like it has before when the left does something outrageous beyond imagination? The sheep will just roll over in the shit like they have before.

Most people are inherently lazy, unwilling to expend anything of themselves (time, effort, money), selfish and believe that someone else will carry their weight. Heavy lifting is not easy. There are some special people on this planet who will at least give it the ol' college try even when any benefit to them personally will never match what they put into it. Some people would call this an unreasonable rate of return on their investment. The special people are special for a reason.

"Americans love a winner. Americans will not tolerate a loser. Americans despise cowards. Americans play to win all of the time. I wouldn't give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed. That's why Americans have never lost nor will ever lose a war; for the very idea of losing is hateful to an American.“ — George S. Patton Speech to the Third Army (1944)

I am running a very unscientific tally. I take that's a tick for America remaining No.1

Love the quote btw

Since there is very little to no science involved in this I'm going to go out on a limb here and add another tick to America No.1 for @Parley.

The more the merrier ( note there is right or wrong answer incase that's misinterpreted )

Any others?

@Oceanslider apologies if I'm wrong but I'm gonna put a tick in the America No.1 box
As more Americans wake up and put a stop to the current attempt by the hijacked Democratic Party to tear down our country and instill Socialism/Communism, and we restore the intent of our Forefathers set forth in the Constitution and Bill of Rights, the United States of America will always be #1, like it or not. I personally don't care if we are #1 or not, as long as we and #1 are not corrupt shithole countries like a lot of the world has proven to be.

I'll bet we will never be #2 to the UK.

Many of us would like to see the US as the dominant player on the world stage, Not so many years ago I would have told you that was the view of 80%+ of the population now I fear we are in the minority. The problem, like the Byzantine article, is that a large portion of the population have gotten fat, dumb and lazy and no longer support or even comprehend the effort and values required to lead. Others like the terminally stupid and the socialists (lazy fucks as that is what true socialists are, they want free shit without effort) truly believe that destroying the US will somehow "make things better". And still others want the US crippled for their own personal gain.

So while Im a vote for America #1, that doesnt mean I'm in favor of or support every stupid or immoral thing corrupt politicians and others get our country into. Such as Ukraine.
