US Elections (& Politics) :)

Stupid they may be but I don't think they're suicidal.

Absolutely unbelievable the disrespect given to the police!! And they are called "The Bad Guy".
Ever notice how any large number of people....whether they are white, black, Asian, Filipino and so on....become very courageous, defiant and lawless when they are together in number? It's called COWARDICE. These violent protesters, thugs, criminals...and make no mistake, they are criminals.....are no different from the gangs that flourish in urban and metro neighborhoods. Take any one of them away from their group, gang, klaven, whatever and individually, when by themselves, they're little whiny, wimpy cowards!

I've been jumped on or been accosted by these types when alone in Washington state, the Philippines, California, Japan and Australia...even on a Naval Air base in Northern CA made up of kids whose parents were stationed at the base!

Yep, the common denominator is cowardice and the trait knows no boundaries or what ethnicity it affects or infects.

Thank God for the men and women of the police departments and sheriffs offices of our great nation. I appreciate them and I support them 100%. I make it a point to buy one or two of them that I see at the coffee shop or restaurant their meal from time to time. I bought an AL State Trooper his lunch just last week. When I paid for our meal I paid for his as well and as I passed his table as we left I spoke to him, told him his meal was on me and I thanked him for what he's doing, told him to stay safe. His jaw dropped and he said "thank you", I told him "no, thank YOU!" and I meant it. I didn't know him from Adam's house cat but I was sincere.

I encourage everyone that reads this to do the same on occasion. It's a small amount that can go a very long way. I've lost more money from blue jean pockets with large holes or loans to friends that never paid me back. Trust me, it'll feel good every time you do it.

I only wish I had started sooner.

Great idea. .
I have younger family members that are police officers. In about five more years they will be able retire with twenty years served. Just about when I will be ready for SS.

I'm not voting for Trump or Biden this election. I'm a republican, but just not a fan of Trump. I voted for him in 2016, but honestly I wish there was another republican on the ticket for 2020. I will be voting for my republican senator though.

I don’t like everyone I’ve ever voted for. Never saw that as a job requirement. I’m not marrying them.
In some cases its the lesser of two evils. I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror knowing I didn’t cast a vote and the guy who got elected totally screwed the country.

Regardless of whether you like him, what specifically has Trump done that has directly affected you personally, negatively, that makes you not want to vote for him vs. Harris?
(Covid doesn’t count in my book as a) it was developed in a lab and got out of no fault of his b) regardless of all the hand wringing and hypocrite Democrat bullshit, Trump didn’t cause Wuflu deaths, c) the rules we all are living under were almost entirely dictated by state Governors and local politicians.)

That makes no sense. If you are a Republican and you do not vote for Trump, then it is a vote for Biden.

Let me make that a little clearer. In 1992 Ross Perot got 19M votes which were conservatives that would have voted for Bush if Perot did not run, thus putting Bush over Clinton. The same is true now. If you are a middle to conservative voter who would not vote for the Socialists/Democrats but hate Trump so you won't vote for him either, that no vote takes one away from Trump much like voting for Perot did to Bush in 1992.

^^^ This. Put aside your personal likes/dislikes and look at the things Trump has accomplished battling the Media, Democrats and the 'Deep State'. Just the fact that he has placed 2 justices on the Supreme Court and most likely a 3rd has made it all worth while. But you go ahead a vote for Biden by not voting for Trump....

Trump is rude and crude, perhaps egotistical...I don't know. But he's doing what he was elected to do and more.

He won't be coming over to dinner at your place any time soon and he's not car-pooling with you so it should be OK for you to vote for him.....or as some have said here, if you don't it's like a vote for Joe. Besides, you don't have to tell anyone you voted for Trump, if you don't want to...it'll be our little secret!

C'mon, man (sorry, Joe)....TRUMP 2020 ! :headbang:

Our presidents aren't judged by their personality but rather their accomplishments. Trump's list is long and he's been forced to do it while fighting off the dems, the media, the hollyweirdos, and the insane mob on social media. He's a fighter and he fights for America. If he hasn't earned a second term I don't know what it takes for you.

Biden promises more of Pelosi and Schumer, furthering the slide to marxism, riots, lawlessness, Constitution trashed, liberty crushing mandates and free stuff that will never happen.

Hard choice I know.

I sincerely hope your right to vote isn't wasted or worse yet thrown away.

Then simply, you are no Republican. You are a Democrat, because not voting for President Trump, WILL BE a vote for Joe and the Hoe. You are from Virginia? Wouldn't be 'Northern Virginia', would it?

Exactly how the United States is responsible for providing security to people fleeing the violence that occurs in other countries is beyond my comprehension. By that line of thought, I should be able to go to Switzerland, or any other country, fleeing the violence of the Liberal/Socialists/Marxists in this country and be welcomed by those countries and receive tons of benefits from them.

Sounds like a few "scientists" need to be replaced at the CDC--starting with Redfield.

That is mathematically inaccurate. That is more of an emotional statement. Yes, not voting takes away one vote for Trump but does not add one vote for Biden.

Sure I am. I share many of the same conservative values. Yes, I live in Northern Virginia. And yes, there are lots of Democrats here, but there are many of us Republicans here that proudly wave the American Flag.
