does one not vote for the one running for President because of the V.P. pick?

The VP pick is generally of minor importance, but it makes for a good target. The dems and media did a pretty good hatchet job on Dan Quayle. Most of it was undeserved but he wasn't able to mount a good defense, and wasn't very good at the debate. I suspect that JDV will be better in those respects.

King Bush the 1st. picked Quayle as a patsy. Bush learned the tactic when he ran the CIA.
All the while they (CIA) was flying Coke into an Air America airport just west of Tuscon AZ.
