People on X are dissecting Elon and Vivek posts on X to establish a timeline, to find out if there was a fall out between them.

For what it's worth.
Elon used to agree and repost or reply to Vivek post on X with "exactly" or "100%" almost daily multiple times a day.

It stopped abruptly on Dec 18, remember people on X can only see Elon or Viveks posts or retweet but not the likes which are private. So they are going by only those two metrics.

The last retweet or reply to Vivek post by Elon was 5 days before Vivek posted that long post about why companies hire foreign workers.

No suprise this was during the passing of the giant spending bill.


Further more Vivek was about gutting the H1B and only wanted to hire H1B or its replacement based purely on merit not the low wages that the companies exploit.

This was again against all the other tech giants which doesn't want H1B program to be touched or downsized.

Vivek also wanted to end chain immigration, where the family of a H1b can bring in their family members.

This along with Vivek potentially going through all the contracts hence forth in DOGE would have meant that Elon, Peter Thiel, Jeff Bezzos etc would have had a negative impact on their respective company revenues and stock prices , they have contracts from Nasa, Pentagon etc.

Elon himself relented to H1B wages and merit only after the back clash.

While Vivek was caught in the cross fire, when he was always against H1b.

Someone also posted that Elon liked a X post which was criticizing Vivek views on H1b, where Vivek wanted to gut the H1b.

Trump later came out in support of H1B. The only Trump pick who was against H1B was Vivek.

So there is definitely something that transpired.

All the hate that was directed against Vivek are people who didn't even understand the substance in his post or his actual position on H1b.

Just was thinking, Thank You Biden for giving us a list of all the Criminals on your preempted pardon list. That is the only reason they are on there right?

You know I get he did not know what he was signing most all of the time, BUT I don't buy he was not all there and did not know that his over spending caused high inflation and that he opened the border wide open on day one after Trump left.
He pardoned 8,000+ criminals, he needs to take their place...

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Emphasis on subject to the jurisdiction thereof; illegal aliens are NOT subject to the jurisdiction thereof. They are subject to the jurisdiction of where they came from.
 
He sees more future in politics going this route. He's super smart and will probably win as Governor of Ohio. He's young, so he still could be President someday.

But there is new reports saying that he said American workers have a culture problem. But I read his post and think he is pretty spot on. But guess it bunched the panties of some. Is that really the reason he's out?



As someone whose job has been replaced by a foreigner (as of last week... with 35+ years in the industry), I call bullshit on this. I have worked with plenty of people in overseas locations, and there is one universal thing that I see-- when asked to complete a task, given guidelines and time constraints, over 80% of the time I've seen it done as fast as possible with no regard for long-term maintainability, as half-assed as possible, and almost never following the guidelines. As far as I can tell, this is a cultural thing, although some are able to overcome it.

Yes-- the 14th is crystal clear. I don't know what legal basis was provided to Trump in pursuing that-- but I do not think that proposed "ban" is going anywhere.

This phrase is unfortunately subject to interpretation, and I expect it to end up in the supreme court. An honest process would be to discover why the amendment was adopted and what its intent was, then base the decision on that. In practice it will be decided by political leanings of the judges, and could be reversed when the leanings change.
 
Damn, when's the last time we had two great days in a row in America? I turn the news on and don't have the usual feeling like I need to take a giant dump. What a wonderful day in the neighborhood.

That is not what he is saying in his post. He's talking about why American students are low on the pole.

If your talking latin american uneducated workforce in the skills trades, I'd say yes to what you are saying. He's really talking about skills that require Math and Science, and culture within American education for the reason we score pretty low these days.
