We don't pay anything for garbage pick-up...as long as you don't consider paying property taxes. It's part of the Municipal budget, included in our tax bill, and I don't have a detailed listing of the budget to provide a "real" answer. This is in the Great Nanny State of NJ, Comrade Murphy, Commissar and Lock Down Artist in Chief.

We pay $91 quarterly in rural NW IL, but its a private company that we can cancel or change, so I suppose it's acceptable.
I think it was figured into our property taxes when we used to live in a suburb of Chicago in Crook County. I don't recall ever seeing a bill.

$65 quarterly from a small local company (and I try to go local any chance I get). Any of the big guys wanted over $100 quarterly, and that was several years ago when one of them bought out the other small local company that I was using and jacked up the pricing right away.

Yeah, I went last weekend and told my grandma how upset I was that she voted for Biden.
Then I left the cemetery and went to breakfast.
So we use to pay $10 a month, $30 quarterly in our old neighborhood. The HOA had to raise our rates and include the service in our annual fees due to several neighbors putting their trash in paying customers cans and or letting their trash pile up outside. Sad but it use to be a nice neighborhood until our demographics changed, we moved after 22 years. Where are presently, they include the service in our MUD/Water bill so not sure how much we pay. I know our HOA in the old neighborhood only went up $60 a year so they must of had a subdivision discount. Both were Waste Management co. in Texas.
Oh forgot to mention, we have two pick-ups a week, one regular trash on Mondays, and Recycle on Thursdays
