I've seen references to "KRAKEN" or "KRAKAN"and had no idea what it is. A quick Goggle search shows it's a monster in Nordic cultures.

Email has been around long before the internet. I remember using bulletin boards back in the eighties with a Commodore 128 and a 300 baud modem. Lol...
