Nothing but pure demons. However, the repubs have failed to do anything for years. They have sat on their laurels and watched it unfold for decades. They allowed the party to become saturated with rinos that just use the republicans name to get elected. That trash should have been gone a long time ago, and way before Trump got in office. For example, it’s all fine and well to subpoena the pigs of big tech. But, they had their chance to adjust the policies regarding those companies and just held hearings; hearings that went nowhere. I feel they were just doing that to check the boxes. Like I said before, until the right gets out and works like the left, this is the path in which the country will continue to travel.

I still don’t understand what the point is of impeaching one no longer in office. Typical brandishing of power that makes no sense and just pees away money. Oh, what the heck; they can just print more. It’s a bad sign when even Roberts refuses to preside over the “hearing”. Even he knows impeachment is only geared toward someone currently in office. And, if I’m not mistaken, I don’t even think that would be enough to prevent the Trumpster from running again.

Although I have slim hope that this will EVER pass, this is why so many HATE Ted Cruz and those that support it......

Republicans press constitutional amendment term-limiting members of Congress
'The rise of political careerism in today’s Congress is a sharp departure from what the Founders intended'

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, joined five other Republicans on Monday in moving to restrict the number of times members of Congress can be reelected.

The legislation revives Cruz's earlier idea for a constitutional amendment on term limits. If ratified, the measure would prevent senators from serving more than two six-year terms and House members from serving more than three two-year terms.

"Every year, Congress spends billions of dollars on giveaways for the well-connected: Washington insiders get taxpayer money and members of Congress get re-elected, all while the system fails the American people," Cruz said in a press release.

bullshit.

That's all kind of interesting except for one thing: The UK has a higher death rate than the US. The UK acted like a little dictatorship with the citizenry there--- restricting anything and everything-- and it didn't work. I don't know what the hell you're talking about at this point. the hypocrisy coming from you is amazing. BTW--- there is some great peer-reviewed published research showing heavy-handed restrictions and mandates were no more effective than ASKING people to stay distant and wear masks. You are disgustingly wrong-- but it's not your fault. You've been listening to bullshit liberally biased media to get your info. It shows. Snap out of it and come back to Reality.
The UK lockdown is a sham because it's not enforced. We still have interntaional travel and holidays, people flout the rules on masks and our stores can't even ask them to put a mask on because it's discriminatory and they can be liable legally for asking (one of the examples of socialism gone too far), the Government is trying to follow the US on the economy and so everyone that can't work from home is allowed to go to work - read 1/2 the population, and essential journeys aren't enforced either - many people are out daily for a newspaper. You can hardly expect the UK to succedd when the lockdown is as leaky as a seive and all but designed to fail.

Look beyond your borders and look at several 3rd World Countries such as Vietnam, bordering China so one of the most exposed countries in the world, shut down all international travel almost straight away, made masks compulsory, police on every street corner enforcing rules. Wihin 1 month, whole country back to functioning normally again (albeit with masks and closed borders). Total of 35 deaths in a 3rd world country. Taiwan the same - 7 deaths. All the countries (small island nations aside that by population and design have low figures), that shut borders, had strict regimes of enforced lockdown, compulsory mask wear and effective tracking and tracing with enforced quarantine have fared well both in deaths and economy.

If you want to keep deluding yourself that your freedoms (or ours by leeky design) are saving your population, keep doing so. The Statistics say otherwise. The USA has the highest number of deaths anywhere in the world and the 3rd world countries that have very highly concentrated populations crowded together, poor sanitation and strict Goervnments that have imposed restrictive lockdown regimes have fared the best both for cases and deaths, and also economic effects as their economies are totally open and businesses functioning whilst the 1st world languishes in ineffective measures, punishing stimulus cheque costs / health care Costs, unemployment and rampant infection (and that includes the UK).

The Republicans caved again? Imagine my surprise...

It’s pretty sad when the conservative base has to look towards 2 dems (Manchin and Siema )to at least attempt to maintain integrity. The integrity that the republicans senators led by Witch McDonkey fail to have. I’m not a fan of manchin, but he at least has taken up a decent position in past instances such as during court nominees. However, I believe it won’t be long before people like him will be forced out and replaced with even more mindless and socialistic puppets that push their narratives and bs policies on the American public.
