US Elections (& Politics) :)

From The Pueblo Chieftain:

Biden eyes major foreign policy shifts if he wins

  • The left-leaning rag says "...Trump’s initial problems may have reflected a lack of governmental experience by both him and his top advisers. That created a steep learning curve that was complicated by their intense distrust of national security institutions."

What? Distrust an Obama-appointed FBI leadership that spearheaded a coup by creating falsified documents and manipulating witnesses? Naw...say it ain't so!

  • The paper continues: ".....Biden, with his Senate and White House experience, may be better positioned to deliver on change swiftly."

So what he hasn't done in 30 years in Congress and 8 years as Vice President he'll suddenly do 'swiftly'?

  • It gets better: "....Biden told reporters Tuesday in Delaware that he knows ‘how to get things done internationally.' "

Oh, I'll bet that he does! Just ask how well his son's appointment to the board of Burisma Holdings in the Ukraine worked out financially for Hunter.

  • The comedy routine from Biden continues:"....‘I understand the national security and intelligence issues,’ he said. ‘That’s what I’ve done my whole life. Trump has no notion of it. None.’"

Need I say more? Biden is a talker....not a doer. Sure, Trump talks but he gets it done...for America and for her people.

Democrats Urging Biden Not to Debate Trump

Democrats around the country have begun to pressure the Biden campaign to call off all debates with Donald Trump due to the coronavirus pandemic, they say.

In truth, the reason they don’t want Biden to debate Trump is that they don’t think Trump will play by their rules. The president would take over the debate and make it about what he wants, not what Biden wants.

Democrats are also worried about Biden’s mental stamina and his ability to remain engaged for an hour and a half during a debate.

Pure comedy. Let us not forget that China "invested" $1.5 billion in Hunter Biden's company. Also Hunter even admitted that he had zero experience for the Burisma job.

28 Million Mail-In Ballots Went Missing in Last Four Elections

Between 2012 and 2018, 28.3 million mail-in ballots remain unaccounted for, according to data from the federal Election Assistance Commission. The missing ballots amount to nearly one in five of all absentee ballots and ballots mailed to voters residing in states that do elections exclusively by mail.

States and local authorities simply have no idea what happened to these ballots since they were mailed – and the figure of 28 million missing ballots is likely even higher because some areas in the country, notably Chicago, did not respond to the federal agency’s survey questions. This figure does not include ballots that were spoiled, undeliverable, or came back for any reason.

Although there is no evidence that the millions of missing ballots were used fraudulently, the Public Interest Legal Foundation, which compiled the public data provided from the Election Assistance Commission, says that the sheer volume of them raises serious doubts about election security.

These questions are particularly relevant as the COVID-19 pandemic is forcing states across the country to rapidly expand vote-by-mail operations in an election year. Democratic Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Ron Wyden have proposed the Natural Disaster and Emergency Ballot Act of 2020, a bill that would allow every eligible voter the opportunity to vote by mail, regardless of state laws governing mail-in ballots.

Lol. The article is written like it's all the Republicans and Trumps fault. The last time I checked, all financial bills must originate in the house. What party controls the house again? The blame game is getting old. Both parties pass crap bills that benefit those that shouldn't benefit, whether by intent or a missed flaw in the bill. At this point, we'd be better off if both parties stuck to their guns, refused to pass bills they will end up blaming the other party for, and NOTHING got done. It's sad we are at the point that the Government doing absolutely nothing, would be far better for the country than them doing anything at all.

Dan Bongino: People Close To The Situation Say Biden’s Cognitive Decline Is Rapidly Worsening

Dan Bongino, Facebook post from earlier today:

"Not a joke and not hyperbole - I'm hearing from people close to the situation that Biden's cognitive decline is rapidly worsening and is becoming increasingly difficult to mask. The Democrats are going to have to make a decision soon."

I don't know. Creepy Joe has been like this for a long time. Granted it does seem worse, but the pressure of being pushed further and further Socialist and having to face the Trumpster on a stage could be contributing factors as well. It will make for some interesting, and fun, entertainment though no matter what the actual cause is.

FYI - an assessment from a Texan pro-business person, this will impact the election..

Economist Danielle DiMartino Booth joins Patrick Bet-David for a second time to discuss the aftermath of the coronavirus and its economic impact.

Trump quote of the day,
April 23, 2020 - “Maybe this goes away with heat and light. It seems like that’s the case.”

It's was the 2nd warmest July on record here in CT (1st was last year but let's not talk about climate change). How hot does it have to get to kill this virus? Only the Doctor in Chief knows I guess. . .

In his own words - Trump on a call to the widow of a Special Forces soldier killed in an ambush by Islamist militants ,

"He knew what he was signing up for, but I guess it hurts anyway."

When both parties cannot come to an agreement, an issue is created plus current issues get prolonged, and that is where the progress towards a meeting point cancels out. This is what resulted in every tragic event, whether it was the first two World Wars, Cold War, Vietnam War, 1979 Oil Crisis, 9/11 (especially), Recession, and now the pandemic. ;) Lives were lost as a result, people's lives were impacted, and yet they all could have been spared. :( People are not even getting PUA anymore. Those living paycheck to paycheck will develop psychological disorders (i.e. depression and anxiety) and only exacerbate the growing mental health problem in this once great nation.

President Trump SURGES Past “Hollow Joe” Biden in Latest Economic Poll

Well, this is a no-brainer.
President Donald Trump SURGED past Sleepy Joe in the latest monthly Democracy Institute/ Sunday Express poll on the economy.
Trump polls at 48% and Joe Biden polls at 46% in their latest monthly poll.

More importantly President Trump leads Joe Biden 48 percent to 43 percent in the swing states Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

**
President Trump presided over the most successful economy in US history.
** Joe Biden and Barack Obama presided over the worst economic recovery since the Great Depression.

The Express.co reported:

The third in a series of monthly Democracy Institute/ Sunday Express polls has given President Trump a surprise lead over his Democrat rival of 48 percent to 46 percent, his clearest lead yet.
Crucially, President Trump has a lead of 48 percent to 43 percent in the swing states Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin which would put him back in the White House with an electoral college tally of 309 to Biden’s 229.

Except those aren't his own words or a quote of anything Trump said. It's the political attack of a rabid dem, Frederica Wilson, on Trump with what she says she overheard.

In fact what she said she heard was different than what you wrote.

"I heard him say, 'Well I guess you know he knew what he was signing up for, but it still hurts,'" Wilson told ABC News.
Why did you change it to make it sound worse?

Trump vehemently denied this and anyone with a single firing neuron knows Trump has nothing but admiration and respect for soldiers, especially those who gave their lives in service to their country.

SGT La David Johnson wasn't a Special Forces soldier. Not that it matters here, just something else you got wrong. In your rush to smear Trump you also disrespect SGT Johnson and the other three soldiers who died in that ambush.

R.I.P. brothers.
Thanks for your service and your sacrifice.

Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla., last week adamantly defended her version of Trump's phone call to Myeshia Johnson in an interview with ABC News.

Wilson, who was accompanying Johnson to Dover Air Force Base when Trump called, heard him on speakerphone attempting to console her.

"I heard him say, 'Well I guess you know he knew what he was signing up for, but it still hurts,'" Wilson told ABC News.

And from a transcript of an interview with George Stephenopoulos a direct quote from the widow:
GS: Dover. MJ: Dover, and we was literally on the airport strip gettin' ready to get out and he called Master Sergeant Neil’s phone. I asked Master Sergeant Neil to put his phone on speaker so my aunt and uncle could hear as well. And he goes on to saying his statement as what he said was...

GS: The president... MJ: Yes the President, said that he knew what he signed up for, but it hurts anyway. And it made me cry cause I was very angry at the tone of his voice and how he said he couldn’t remember my husband’s name.

It's more heresay that becomes news to the TDS crowd, just like Russia and Ukraine. Just put "sources say" in front of it and plaster it everywhere. Suprised they didn't try to impeach for that too.
