I think that is more of a female full body contact sport....In 60 years, I have never once stood in line, in the middle of the night, out in the freezing cold, waiting to attempt to get one of the 2 available TV's at a 20% savings. The deductible on my health insurance is more than that per incidence.
Apparently some people think that spending a buck or two extra compared to the past years is still a deal to be sealed The deals are throughout the year and then again, we get what we pay for (with some exceptions)
It just irks to hear that retail markets are strong currently (at least according to MSM) meaning that a good number of Americans still haven't learned how to curb their spending habits

At my point in life, I am shedding a lot of things I collected in my younger years and only buying things I actually want. I also don't wait until the end of the year so retailers can slide the prices of goods up 30% just so they can then discount them 25% and fool the ignorant with claims of "huge savings, only once a year". (unless you are Macy's, then it is every weekend)
Sounds like the SA needs to move all of their money kettles to SF and Chicago, right outside of Nordstroms and Louis Vuitton brick and mortars. "Keeping it in the hood", you know? Their distribution costs should go all the way down to zero.

My ex-wife would drive 10 miles across town in Nor Ca traffic to save a nickle per gal for a 20 gal tank.....30 minutes of my life is worth more than a buck to me, but I welcomed it. It kept her out my hair for a short, but pleasant time.
I'm torn..that was my first thought also, then I got to thinking I'd only be depriving their benefactors. I dunno...I'll mull it over.
I've always been a contributor to the SA but I hate to see all this "wokism", especially in a Christian-based charitable organization.
IMO, the woke-virus has spread more quickly than COVID-19 and there is no real immunity except maybe having a little more than half a brain and it actually works.
