US Elections (& Politics) :)

Get woke, go broke...

I received a solicitation for a contribution in the mail from The Salvation Army yesterday. Below is the envelope, unopened. Below that is a copy of the letter I sent to them. Yes, I actually took the time to compose, type and mail a letter to them. I do take the time to address things that truly piss me off.

Coal might be a good thing to get since the Dems want to make it scarce..

Coal .. could be worth more than other stocking stuffers soon ..

I need to write a letter as well, but to Mr. and Mrs. Claus to kindly put me back on the nice list

You're day dreaming!

That "quiz" is useless drivel from a useless organization. It scored me as "disengaged"

On inflation I'm seeing 10% and greater. Costco toilet paper had about 10% shrinkage recently. Dollar Tree has it's 25% boost. I've been eyeing a $2,000 Harbor Freight generator and all of a sudden it's $2,200. Just about everything at Trader Joe's is up, their house brand wine by 17%. We don't buy much beef or I'd probably be really whining about that. Thanks, Democrats!

The bright side is that it's looking better for savers. The rate on 6 month T-bills had doubled, exploding to 0.08%! Pretty soon my bank accounts might launch from the current 0.01% rate. :smash:
