I know. I just came off a two week suspension in a discussion about gasoline prices. The deck is stacked against Conservative thought by the moderators. If I enter the word Covid I have to use something like co-vid or co-vud instead so that their search engine will not pick it up.
The best I can make of this sentence is that "he" was meant to mean "the Ukrainian government".

There's a potentially huge economic happening going on that's being almost totally ignored by the media. Apparently, starting yesterday Russia pegged the ruble to gold at 5,000 rubles per gram. At last week's gold price and exchange rates, this seemed absurd, because the russian price of gold would have been in the $1,500/oz ballpark, while the USA price was over $1,950/oz. But starting yesterday, the USA gold price has "mysteriously" drifted down, testing $1,900/oz, and the ruble/dollar exchange rate has hugely changed from 100 rubles/dollar at market open yesterday, to 85 rubles/dollar at mid-day today. The financial media is full of articles explaining this, totally ignoring the ruble-gold peg. Just a coincidence, or is there an agenda behind it?
When the economic sanctions started my instinct was that they'd end up hurting the USA more than russia. I'm no prophet and am just watching how it will all play out. With russia looking to china for credit card processing, requiring payment in rubles for its exports, and now the gold peg, there's the potential for the USA to come out the big loser in this economic war. If the petrodollar is broken, it will be the beginning of the end for USA dominance of world-wide finance.

When we first moved into our house (about a year later) we had a real stray cat problem. EVERYTHING smelled like cat piss and shit when it rained. It was disgusting. So, I started using my Have-A-Heart trap, and relieving our area of the issues, or at least making a dent in it (this was hashed out in a previous thread). I replied to a thread about too many stray cats in our area and the damaged they were doing. LSS, this POS liberal gets on there, and tells me that stray cats are protected under Texas law and he is going to at the minimum report me and then he made the stupid mistake of stating he would come visit me. Well now, that went over real well. I told him he was more then welcome to step foot on my property anytime he felt the need to inform me of Texas law. It really started to go down hill and I was banned for a bit. Honestly, didn't give a rats ass. I just went on there to reply to someone else's post about too many stray cats. Screw Nextdoor Neighborhood App. It has been deleted off of my phone.

Dear Patriots,
We strongly oppose the current Biden nominee to the Supreme Court. She does not respect the Rule of Law.
Judge Ketanji Jackson Brown has a long record of giving individuals, who watch and produce sexually explicit videos using children, big breaks when it comes how long they are in prison.
The Biden Regime is rushing this nomination for the seat now held by Justice Beyer so they can slip it through while we are not paying attention. Justice Beyer does not leave his position on the court until the end of June. The White House and the Democrats are not sharing vital information with the Republicans and the public. At the very least more time is necessary to vet her.
We ask that you contact your two Senators, regardless of party, and ask them to vote no on this nomination. Judge Jackson Brown has a proven and recent record of being lenient on pornographers.
If you can not get through on the Congressional switch board, look up your Senators offices in your state. How to contact your Senators.
Contact them by phone and email. Be polite and respectful, but firm and informed.

They attested in sworn statements that the increase in the data reflected their clinical experience in the military over the past year and is, in their professional opinion, the result primarily of mass vaccine injury from the COVID shots.
In a bizarre twist, the military went on to change the data in the ensuing days without ever conducting a formal investigation into what went wrong or releasing a statement to the public. I do not watch PBS or the MSM TV news. I watched the weather last night for first time in years last night. I started about ten minutes early and I almost broke my TV set. What a bunch of garbage they put on the air.
