Before looking out for one another, look out for yourselves folks. Only reason why I took time off from the forum was to remind myself less about the recurring issues prevalent throughout not just in this country but across the world as well. My blood pressure has ticked by up ever since I started watching the news again :(

Arj, there's your answer, right there. Don't watch the television news. At all. We stopped watching even the local news about two years ago, because they're just plain despicable.

I was having a look at the numbers for your elections and something like 10-25% of the population don't vote for whatever reason (lack of democracy sausages I say) so you can double your effectiveness at the ballot box by taking along a similarly minded individual who just cant get to the polls for whatever reason.
