The plastic bag ban in NJ is the stupidest virtue signal possible. You can go into a store, buy thousands of different items all packaged in plastic, buy produce that you put in a plastic bag supplied by the store but can't put those items in a plastic or even a paper bag supplied by the store. What a joke this is, but the politicians can thump their chests saying "we're saving the sea turtles". Morons!
