Biden Administration Sued for Tying K-12 Gender Ideology to Lunch Money
QUOTE: The Biden administration's drive to link the provision of federal school lunch money to compliance with gender identity ideology was challenged Tuesday by 22 states saying they would take the matter to court. As Breitbart News reported, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) last month announced in order for schools to receive funds for student lunches, breakfasts, and other food items, they must comply with its interpretation of the ban on discrimination based on sex in Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and other food-related programs, which includes sexual orientation and gender identity.
Schools awarded money from the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), an agency within USDA, must specify in their policies that discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation is prohibited, the department confirmed. It also said allegations of such discrimination must be investigated.
Now states are pushing against the demand for "correct" ideology to be linked to state provision of food and nutrition.
"We all know the Biden administration is dead-set on imposing an extreme left-wing agenda on Americans nationwide," Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, who is leading the 22-state lawsuit, said in a statement as seen by UPI new outlet. "But they've reached a new level of shamelessness with this ploy of holding up food assistance for low-income kids unless schools do the left's bidding."
The 22 states, which are mostly Republican-controlled, named in the lawsuit are Indiana, Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and West Virginia.

There is a reason why it looks good when the democrats are in control. When democrats are in the spending goes up. When republican's are in control, they reel in the spending and put in the controls like tax cuts and corporate taxes that takes time for the deficit to be reflected in your chart. That is why all the democrat spending takes so long to take effect as it falls under a republican. The only difference in your chart is that the "huge" Trump jump in spending was due to COVID
So if we had two different democratic presidents back to back ( ie 16 years ) you will see the chart will prove me correct.

The reason is that it's more liberal propaganda claiming opposite of reality.
Why is the deficit attributed to somebody (the current president) who does not have the final authority over the budget? The spending is controlled mainly by the house, with agreement by the senate. Yes the president can and does spend much of the money, but he can only spend what congress has given him to spend. Why are there all of the "deficit by president" graphs out there, yet it's almost impossible to find a "deficit by house majority party" graph? The answer is again that it's liberal propaganda controlled by the liberal press. If there were a deficit by house majority party published, it would look damning for the democrats. That Clinton budget surplus is of course BS, attained by counting funds in the mythical social security trust fund. But if the liberals want to believe the surplus fantasy, they should also admit that who really controlled the budget those years, congress, was republican majority and give all the credit to them.
