USAID Was Spending $268 Million to Fund Over 6,000 Approved Journalists – While at the Same Time Spending MILLIONS to Silence Conservative, Independen

The Columbia Journalism Review on Tuesday released a report on the importance of USAID’s donations to approved journalists at home and abroad.

According to CJR, USAID spent $268 million to fund over 6,000 approved journalists. Obviously, these were the leftwing variety of journalist who did not question COVID, elections, climate change, DEI policies, etc.

[Already, though, the new administration’s approach to USAID has had sharp consequences all over the world—after taking office, Trump signed an order freezing virtually all American aid spending for ninety days, grinding dependent humanitarian operations to an immediate halt across a dizzying array of different project areas. Journalists have been among those affected: according to Reporters Without Borders (RSF), the aid freeze appears to have put a hold on $268 million that was earmarked to fund “independent media and the free flow of information” this year. In the recent past, USAID had boasted of supporting more than six thousand journalists, around seven hundred independent newsrooms, and nearly three hundred media-focused civil society groups in thirty is, the full impact of the freeze is hard to measure, since many recipients are “hesitant to draw attention for fear of risking long-term funding or coming under political attacks.”]

This is a stunning admission.

The CJR report wants you to feel sadness that these approved media outlets in 30 countries, including the US, will no longer be receiving your taxpayer dollars to publish their globalist propaganda.

Here is what Columbia Journalism Review forgot to mention.

At the same time USAID was funding 6,000 approved journalists – USAID was also spending MILLIONS to silence populist and conservative outlets like The Gateway Pundit.

Here are a few examples of how USAID was funding censorship organizations that targeted The Gateway Pundit and others.

‘Level Of Jackassery’: James Carville Outraged At Dems Over 2 ‘Stunningly Stupid’ Moves

Democratic strategist James Carville condemned his party on Thursday for pursuing agendas that he argued are disconnected from the concerns of everyday Americans.

During the “outrage of the week” segment on his “Politics War Room” podcast, Carville expressed frustration with New York Democrats pushing for pet bereavement leave and with the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) gender rules discussed at its Saturday Winter Meeting.

“For my outrage, these are … two things that Democrats have done that are so unmoored to what anyone in the country thinks or feels like. It’s almost impossible. The first one is some Democrats and progressives in New York are advocating for bereavement pet leave,” Carville said. “Okay, so in other words, if your cat dies, you get three days of paid leave. Does anyone even know, like in rural America, like where I grew up, how many dead animals?”

“In the entire history of the United States, let me tell you something — a sentence that has never, ever, ever been uttered: ‘Well, Martha, Fido died, so I can’t bale a hay today.’ I mean, come on,” he continued. “I mean, please, just think of how — and fortunately, no one’s going to overly publicize this, although the right’s using it in some places — just how clueless you sound to people who are agrarian. It’s like, you know, you’re living on a different thing. Life and death on a farm is something that happens every six hours. I mean, my God.”

Democratic New York City council members sponsored a bill in October to enable New Yorkers to utilize their sick time to take care of their pets.

During the DNC meeting on Saturday, outgoing DNC chair Jaime Harrison appeared confused by his own party’s policies on gender inclusivity, struggling to explain that “in order to be gender-balanced” the party must elect “one male, one female, and one person of any gender,” for the party’s vice chair position.

Carville read from an article in The Atlantic about the situation, which reads, “Speaking to the Democratic National Committee, which met to select its new leadership this weekend, the outgoing chair, Jaime Harrison, attempted to explain a point about its rules concerning gender balance for its vice-chair race. ‘The rules specify that when we have a gender-nonbinary candidate or officer, the nonbinary individual is counted as neither male nor female, and the remaining six officers must be gender balanced.'”

“Did I just read this? Of course I did. And do you believe this? Of course you do. Because that’s the level of jackassery that — now, does any Democratic candidate? No. I don’t even know if [newly elected DNC Chair] Ken Martin himself actually [believes it]. But they do it,” Carville said. “And it’s like there’s a plant somewhere in ‘progressive’ America that just sees how many jackass stupid things that they can embrace. It’s stunningly stupid. Both of them.”

CIA John Ratcliffe: “Lisa Page confirmed to me under oath that the FBI was ordered by the Obama DOJ not to consider charging Hillary Clinton for gross negligence in the handling of classified information,"

Transcript excerpt of his interview with Page: John Ratcliffe: Okay. So let me if I can, I know I'm testing your memory, but when you say advice you got from the Department, you're making it sound like it was the Department that told you: You're not going to charge gross negligence because we're the prosecutors and we're telling you we're not going to –

Ms. Page: That is Correct.

Trump Fires Chopra, Bessent Freezes CFPB’s Overreach Machine

The bureaucratic empire that Rohit Chopra built at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) was destined to crumble under the weight of its own excesses. From the moment he took the helm, Chopra ruled the agency as an unaccountable overlord, brandishing the regulatory hammer to bludgeon financial institutions into compliance with a progressive economic agenda. His tenure was a textbook case of administrative state overreach—punishing businesses, stifling competition, and reducing consumer choice in the name of “protection.”

Trump, never one to tolerate bureaucratic tyranny, did what any president committed to free markets and limited government would do: he fired him. It was a decisive blow against an agency that had become a tool of leftist economic interventionism. Chopra’s CFPB sought to dictate overdraft fees, medical debt reporting, and lending practices with a zeal that bordered on economic totalitarianism. His departure was not just a personnel change—it was a repudiation of the entire progressive regulatory apparatus that suffocates innovation and punishes prosperity.

Enter Scott Bessent. Trump’s Treasury Secretary, a seasoned financial strategist, wasted no time in slamming the brakes on the CFPB’s aggressive agenda. His first move? Freezing all rulemaking, litigation, enforcement actions, and public communications. In other words, the CFPB has been placed in regulatory purgatory, stripped of its ability to continue Chopra’s ideological crusade.

This is no mere administrative delay. Bessent’s directive signals a fundamental shift in the CFPB’s role—from an activist regulator imposing progressive dictates to a watchdog with a sharply curtailed mandate. Critics are already decrying the move as a "shutdown" of the agency, but that’s precisely the point. For too long, the CFPB has operated as an unelected economic police force, wielding unchecked power over financial institutions that should be guided by market forces, not bureaucratic fiats.

Among the casualties of Bessent’s freeze are two of Chopra’s most controversial policies: the ban on medical debt in credit reports and the cap on overdraft fees. These regulations, heralded by progressives as consumer-friendly, in reality, did little more than distort market mechanisms and restrict financial services. The irony, of course, is that such measures often hurt the very people they claim to help—raising costs, reducing access to credit, and burdening small lenders with compliance nightmares.

Bessent’s CFPB overhaul is not occurring in a vacuum. It aligns seamlessly with the broader Trump-Musk push to reduce the bloated administrative state. As the head of the newly minted Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Elon Musk has been vocal about his desire to eliminate wasteful, duplicative, and overreaching bureaucracies. The CFPB, a relic of Obama-era overregulation, is a prime target.

Musk has even floated the idea of dismantling the agency entirely—a proposal that, until recently, might have been dismissed as libertarian fantasy. But in the new Trump era, where government excess is under siege, such an outcome is not beyond the realm of possibility. With the CFPB effectively neutered under Bessent’s leadership, the question becomes not whether it can be reformed, but whether it should exist at all.

Of course, the regulatory state does not surrender easily. Expect legal challenges, congressional hearings, and media hysteria over the "gutting" of consumer protections. The left will frame this as an assault on the little guy, ignoring the reality that Chopra’s CFPB was never about protecting consumers—it was about controlling markets.

Bessent’s leadership marks a turning point. Whether he dismantles the CFPB completely or merely reins in its worst excesses, one thing is certain: the days of unchecked regulatory power at the CFPB are over. In its place, a vision of financial markets governed not by unelected ideologues, but by competition, innovation, and consumer choice, is beginning to take shape.

For those who believe in limited government, free markets, and the restoration of economic liberty, Bessent’s CFPB freeze is a reason to celebrate. For the bureaucrats who thrived under Chopra’s reign, it’s a warning: the era of unaccountable regulatory rule is coming to an end.

Ok, ok... I'm sure that I somehow missed any of the pertinent articles, so... With all the obviously illegal stuff that has already been exposed... where can I find a list of those higher tier officials that have been arrested. I'm asking this because, until I see it, all I see is the typical circus that has always gone on...

Shellenberger: USAID Paid for Trump Impeachment Effort

The United States Agency for International Development and the CIA funded the 2019 impeachment effort against President Donald Trump, according to investigative journalist Michael Shellenberger.

Shellenberger took to social media Wednesday night to explain his findings.

"USAID's defenders say it's about charity and development in poor nations. It's not. It's a $40 billion driver of regime change abroad. And now the evidence suggests that it, along with the CIA, were behind the 2019 impeachment of Trump — an illegal regime change effort at home," Shellenberger posted on X with an image of his Substack "Public" story.

Shellenberger then posted a video and transcript detailing his findings surrounding the December 2019 impeachment that stemmed from a White House whistleblower claiming Trump abused his powers by withholding military aid to Ukraine in order to dig up dirt on his rival, former President Joe Biden.

The whistleblower claimed to have heard from White House staff that Trump directed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to work with his personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, to investigate Biden and his son Hunter Biden.

"The whistleblower who triggered the impeachment was a CIA analyst who was first brought into the White House by the Obama administration," Shellenberger said in the interview.

"Reporting by Drop Site News last year revealed that the CIA analyst relied on reporting by a supposedly independent investigative news organization called the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, which appears to have effectively operated as an arm of the USAID.

Coup d'etat and conspiracy to over throw the executive branch of the US. Time for arrests.

ICE in Aurora, CO comes up empty handed after targeting TDA gangs. I don't take comfort knowing they were out maneuvered due to tips to the gang that ICE was coming.

Don't they have a scout team watching them leading up to the arrests? Don't they tag their cars with tracking devices? Don't they have the ability to track their Obama phones?

When the libs accuse the right of something they pretty much are self reflecting on who they are. The latest accusation is that Trump has created a shadow government. Yup libtards, we already know about your shadow deep state government that feelS threatened by DOGE. ALL the libs today are repeating their talking points that were distributed today like parrots on queue "Musk Shadow Government"

A Grand Case of FAFO is Coming Up

Holy shit. Someone leaked ICE's plan to the Tren de Aragua gang before their operations this morning in Aurora, CO.
Tom Homan said he's contacting the DOJ about prosecuting the leaker.
There is a traitor among the ranks.

INFURIATING: Rep. Nancy Mace Reveals Millions of Taxpayer Dollars Spent on Shocking Experiments to Create Transgender Monkeys, Rats, and More

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) dropped extremely disturbing news during a House oversight hearing on Thursday, revealing just how taxpayers are funding some of the most cruel experiments imaginable.

Thursday’s hearing, titled “Taxpayer-Funded Animal Cruelty,” proved a welcome break to the blowups in recent days and weeks as both parties found common ground on the issue. As TGP readers know, the federal government has spent years funding barbaric animal experiments to the tune of $20 billion.

Disgraced former NIH Director Anthony Fauci, who was widely criticized for his lies, coverup, and involvement in gain of function research funding, is one of the key villains in the government torture of animals.

Mace, citing a report released late last year by the right-leaning animal welfare group called The White Coat Waste Project, exposed to the public some truly shocking and evil examples of animal abuse via DEI grants in the name of promoting trans ideology. The victims of these experiments included mice, rats, monkeys, and other lab animals.

“The White Coat Waste Project exposed more $10 million in taxpayer funds that were spent creating transgender mice, rats, and monkeys,” Mace began. “These DEI grants funded deadly and painful transgender experiments that forced lab animals to undergo invasive surgeries and hormone therapies at universities across the country.”

Mace then dropped several specific examples of how the Biden regime wasted taxpayer money on this cruel garbage.

• $2.5 million taxpayer dollars to study the fertility of transgender mice.

• $1.1 million to determine whether female rats receiving testosterone therapies to mimic transgender men were more likely to overdose on a party drug popular in the LGBTQ community called “chemsex.”

• Taxpayer dollars used to forcibly transition male monkeys to see if hormone therapy mad them more susceptible to HIV.

You really cannot make this stuff up. The next question on many Americans’ minds is if Fauci was involved in any aspect of this.
