Wall of shame

One could store a duster for cleaning the spider webs off that bullet each week.

That tool box looks like the Craftsman units I got about 40 years ago. I still have a few. It is functional. I like the quick access afforded by the latches, but mine are better because they have a hasp so you could put a padlock on it for extra security if needed!

I like the drip loop on the camera cable before it enters the building, too.

That second image of the bullet on the wall? If I was the homeowner I think I would have strangled that moron for drilling that big hole in the wall for the RJ45 and leaving the power jack hanging out....the correct round box for that pigtail would have resolved both.

Also, the way it is now, rain will follow that pigtail right into the mount and possibly, the cam. What a jackass.

Its a brand new mini mart / gas station . The cheapest way to resolve this problem was to put the connection in the wall behind the camera , The right way is to use the backbox they make for this camera.
There are more than one to blame here as Im sure this was the alarm company who did the install but the GC should have made them fix / pay for the repairs before turning the building over to the owner .

Yes, you stated it better but that's what I meant. There's no excuse....even Home Depot and Lowes has a box for a bullet.
