Web server local login problem

I have a new installation of BI 5 (5.2.6.4 x64) on windows 10. Whenever I open up (on the same LAN) the web server page and try to login, it gives me "Login failed but Blue Iris did not provide a reason " error. I have created several test users, admin and non admin. So it is not a credential problem. Other details:
  • disabled auto ban IP after unsuccessful attempts
  • added firewall rules to allow inbound and outbound connections on port 81 for TCP

At some point after restarting the PC i got this to work. However when I then went ahead and enable BI as a service, it stopped working again. Even reverting back to non-service mode and restarting the PC several times doesn't fix the problem.

Here is a screenshot of my web server settings. I have tried looking around the forum but no luck. Any suggestions is much appreciated

.5 is out. See if it helps. This issue is likely related to the new option in .4 to limit user access based on profiles.
