i have been bench testing my dahua NVR before i install it for the last 2 weeks.
just randomly reviewing footage and i found a couple of second of someone elses camera in the recordings, i have no idea where it is as i do not recognise it from anywhere.
the nvr is connected to my router and therefore the internet and only has one camera attached to it.
anyone know what is going on here??

The only way (without being hacked) that would happen if somebody else bench tested it with the same HD installed period, Who put the HD In ? What is the timestamp of the video clip in question?

@wozzzzza Tell us more about your configuration, I see 4 cameras connected....? Did you bought the system new, 2nd hand? Is the hard drive new or was it installed in another NVR already?

Can very likely be the case, did he buy this used?
 
it was a new HDD, new NVR, new Camera. i put it all together.
all passwords changed on setup
no vpn, no open ports on router to nvr that i know of
timestamp on that video clip is not there, just image i think.
 
Or could it be example/sample data (e.g. a sales demo loop) on the DVR itself as part of the firmare ?
