Xprotect Triggering SMD PTZ with AutoTracking

Anyone have a Dahua SMD PTZ in Milestone and triggering presents which allow Autotracking?

when I create them on the camera they show when imported to Milestone however I've yet to see the the Auto Tracking side of things kick off?

Dahua PTZs only autotrack with Smart Plan and IVS.

Unless you are saying Milestone has the capability to do autotracking and direct the PTZ where to go?

well, it's odd, in the camera you add the Smart plan to a preset? it seems that Milestone then calls the preset, does this then trigger the smart plan for that preset?

Yes, you have to setup the Smart plan and IVS rule for each preset that you want autotracking for.

So I have 14 presets with autotracking for each one.

Then when Milestone calls the preset of the PTZ, the camera then takes over and does the tracking.
