The sad thing is, pretty much all of the big box camera providers use their creep-ass sales tactics.
From buzz words and special terms like 30 frames per second, color night vision, to bulk/package selling, keeping their wholesale costs low.
Lorex, Montavue, they are all guilty.
But at the end of the day, that's why sales people usually get paid so much...the more clever they are, the more enticing they can be, which puts more bonus money in their pockets, which coincidently makes many of them chronic liars.
