Somehow I located a 4.4.7.4 x64 version. That fixed everything. I can share a dropbox to that file if you'd like.

im on the same boat.

my BI was working ok flawlessly while i was out of town. all i did was made changes to the WIFI connections of my nest outdoor camera and i have lost my wits trying to figure out why i can't get connectivity.

im now hopefull finding this thread. if i could have downgrade my BI too please... im on 4.4.9.6

thank you so much... now at least there is hope.. close to exploding to note that i may have wasted $700+ on new cameras..

If your purchased nest cams to use with blue iris then yes you did waste your money...its a far from ideal setup with all the cameras feeds being sent to the cloud then back to you...wasting tons of bandwidth...sell them and replace them with proper IP cameras

Actually the downgraded version is 4.4.2.0 x64. Send me your email and I'll share via dropbox. Caution... Because I installed and uninstalled so many times trying to get this to work, I now have a ticket into Blue Iris support because I've exceeded the licenses and can't use my purchased key. The secret is to install the downgraded version as a demo and if it works, register it. After that, just keep watching for the fix in an upgrade.

When you uninstall, you should first deactivate your license in the blue iris about tab.

I agree with fenderman but for me it was too late. I wish I had done more research before I invested in Nest. It is working fine for me now with the downgraded version and my bandwidth is not a problem, I think because I pay my ISP so much...

got them because BB had them and i had some rewards and gift cards to use. any IP CAMS you can suggest? i still have my Logitech alert 700i that worked so,so with BI but i mainly blame it on my whs 2011.

all was actually well until i could not get the nest cams working after i changed the wifi connections and only to realize my BI updated and also realizing i have set my BI to AUTO-UPDATE and INSTALL.
foolish me!

i just need help downgrading my BI version and see if this will help me too..

thanks.

it is not my writeup...there are plenty of folks with good experience with overseas purchases...you need to buy quality brands from sellers who have a good reputation...read the entire thread...an equivalent camera from a US sellers is 500+..buy one and see for yourself.

remember that direct to disk does not function in the demo so you will see increased cpu usage if you normally use direct to disk...if you deactivate you should not need to run in demo mode..

-export current settings (if you care for your current settings)
-De-activate current BI.
-Uninstall current BI
-Download ver 4.2.2.0 (one of the posters here may provide you with a dropbox link)

-install. Version 4.2.2.0 as demo, add cameras(import settings if you have any) and see if all works then activate with your license.
-make sure to disable auto-update and install.

This worked like a champ. Here's my question. I previously had version 4.4.9.1 installed before I updated. I am 99% sure it is 32 bit as I still have the exe file and when running the install it does not give me a 64 bit option.

1st Question: My machine is running 64 bit, what is the difference with BI from 32 to 64 bit?

2nd Question: Does anyone have the 4.4.9.1 64 bit executable?

I am currently downgraded successfully to 4.4.2.0 x64 but would like the 4.4.9.1 x64 if possible as it worked with my Dropcams. TIA
