What is going on with the ipcamtalk website? It has been down for me yesterday and on and off for the last week. The error I get is cloudflare 522 ?

Same here....got that message all day Tues. the 20th, then just 404 off and on some on Mon. the 19th. Both times I checked isitdownrightnow to make sure and yep, it wasn't just me. The cloudflare page said it was checking my browser for DoS but then it timed out and no joy.

Relieved to see others had issues - thought for a moment it was my VPN settings that were causing it

Thanks... Good to hear others were having the same problem. I just always wondered if it something I screwed up :)

Same here, for about a week I experienced periods when ipcamtalk was unreachable. Strangely that when I checked I didn't find anyone else reporting a problem, so I though it was a UK-USA network link thingy. Checks here confirmed the website was down and I also got a Cloudfare screen giving Error 522, "..connection timed out, likely cause is something on your server hogging resources".

Glad it's been sorted, rock-on.

Out of curiosity, was this at a consistent time in a UK morning?

There is (or was, may have been changed with the new server) a daily maintenance activity that caused access difficulties.
Lot of site errors
Though I noticed it shifted by an hour when DST kicked in, I wondered if the scheduled tasks were in a non-DST setting.

@Mike is going to let the curious know a bit more about this, soon.

I didn't identify any pattern, IIRC the website was unreachable both in the evening and the following morning in the UK, but these weren't isolated incidents.
I am still experiencing some errors today, more than once I was getting "an unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later".
Related or what, using several approaches I've been unable to view completely or download a list of POE Network Switches someone has created. Despite being logged in here to ipcamtalk, a box opens asking me to sign in. Perhaps it's a Google Doc issue that doesn't fit with my Browser's settings.
