Thank You for these videos!!! They are great! I started playing with BI 2 days ago. Never would have figured out motion detection without these! Probably would have dumped BI out of desperation. BI now is wonderful. :goodpost:

Just wanted to say thank you for these videos as well, they have greatly helped me better understand BI and many of its functions. Watching your videos, I was able to better stop some of the false triggers setting up zones in my yard where I had a lot of tree shadow movement in the wind. Good stuff sir!

Hi, I just wanted to drop a note saying how great these videos are. I have watched some and plan to watch them all as I get my BI up and running. Your work is greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure if you've ever thought about it, but a "part 0" video showing what to do when a user starts up Blue Iris for the very first time might be helpful. (How to add cameras, how to set different drives for recorded video, etc.)

would love a video on one cam triggering a PTZ to move to a desired preset...seems BI5 setup may have changed a bit for this and wiped out my commands/script

Great videos Dasstrum!!
I still don't understand how should I setup the storage(New, Storage, what sizes should I chose, etc.). Sometimes shows in red and I don't understand what should I do.
It would be nice a video about this as well.

Thanks,
I am going to give it a few weeks before starting on any videos - One thing i've learned from any beta or product after release is that it can change very quick!
Looking forward to your new videos! Any thoughts when we might start seeing them? Thanks again for all the work!

Hello,

So I guess I will do an update on this.

Unfortunately at this time I will not be making any new video for 2 reasons.

1. And this is the main reason - I own a hurricane protection installation company (this is my main job) here in FL and I am currently booked out solid for 2 months and growing as hurricane season is here. I simply don't have the time it takes to create these videos at this time.

2. I guess I was expecting too much out of version 5. I was wishfully thinking it would be a "completely different program" - instead we got a reskinned V4. All of the V4 videos are still relevant to version 5 and at this time - It doesn't make sense for me to redo all the videos just because the program got a facelift.

I'm sorry this isn't the news that a lot of yall want to hear and I do appreciate all the feedback I've gotten from the videos.
