My last update was using this firmware DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000005.0.R.190325.bin. Am i good to go with English version? Or do i need a multilang version?
It is a IPC-HDW5231R-ZE purchased through you.

Just for clarification. I have 5 different model Dahua cameras connected to a NVR, I would need to update each camera and NVR with the updated firmware to fix the e-mail issue? if so, What a major inconvenience.

Same question here although I think that once the NVR is updated there will be no need to update the cameras themselves if you're just looking to get the email functioning again. Either way I don't see it as that big of an inconvenience - you don't have to take the cameras down to update them. For me I no longer use Gmail for the email notify so I'm debating skipping the updates completely. The only thing that would make me update the firmware on the NVR and cameras would be if a new update of iDMSS required new firmware on the NVR. I'm still on iDMSS 4.31.002 since @TechBill informed me that the updates are not working properly.

I am also using the gDMSS Plus phone app. to receive notifications. Only issue is that for whatever reason some of my cameras do not notify me on IVS Trips, So i had to set up motion detects and that works. And yes i have IVS checked marked on the app. for the cameras that are not notifying me on IVS trips.

I’ve found that whenever the app is updated I won’t get alerts until I have restarted the NVR. I don’t recall whether I had to resubscribe after the restart.

Not sure if this requires a new post...
But before these new updates came out, I changed from gmail to zoho as my smtp server on my dahua ip camera. It was mentioned in an earlier post as an option. Zoho worked up until a few days ago. Now my emails from my IP camera are getting bounced back by my gmail account that I use to receive and store the snapshots. I checked to see if I ran out of storage but this isn't the case. I am planning on switching back to gmail once I drive out to the location of the ip camera (about 2 hours away) and update the firmware. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on fixing my zoho to gmail issue. I am thinking that maybe gmail is blocking the emails thinking they are spam.

So is it true that Dahua have withdrawn this update?

i finally solved this out. it seems that gmail is blocking the smtp for cameras. I am using sendinblue website. its an smtp server that allows you to send out 300 emails per day for free. create an account and use the smtp settings given to your NVR + cameras and it will work
