Maybe this quote from Fox News will help. . . Nascar confirmed that it was the ONLY garage with this kind of door 'pull'

View attachment 64648
why would anyone think this isn't anything but an innocent door pull?
View attachment 64650

I can't image why a black driver might be sensitive to a noose in his garage.

Of course there is no racism left in America
  • Three officers were fired from the Wilmington Police Department in North Carolina on Tuesday over racist comments captured on one of their in-car cameras.
  • The former officers — James Gilmore, Jesse Moore II, and Kevin Piner — had all been on the force for more than two decades.
  • The racist comments were accidentally recorded and then found during a routine audit, according to an internal report.
  • In one conversation caught between Moore and Piner, both can be heard using a racial slur against Black people multiple times, and Piner said a new civil war was needed to "wipe 'em off."

Just 3 more 'bad apples' I guess

The pendulum is swinging so far to extremes that this is what you get. I'm the last to defend officers - especially those that abuse (any) citizens' rights. But, let's take a look at this specific scenario... These guys were having private conversations amongst themselves. There was no accusation of their words being used outside a private setting, or racial attitudes affecting their treatment of citizens (of any race). So essentially, these guys were punished for locker-room talk among fellow employees. Do I agree that racist comments are acceptable or should be tolerated? Not at all, but be careful what you wish for. There are many stressful professions where people let off steam with all sorts of objectionable statements. My wife is an ER doc, and some of the things she's overheard in private settings would curl your hair. But it is understood that these private interactions are just that - and a coping mechanism. If it does not affect how they treat people, WGAF.

Many will say the never talk like this, ever. But are we're saying it's ok take confidential/private conversations, audit them, and if we find anything offensive, you get terminated and your life uprooted (what do you think happens with these officers now that their identities have been released)? There are plenty of well-know celebrities that have made off-color jokes, and if you look back at comedians (Dice Clay, Pyor, Murphy, Rock, Chapelle, Seinfeld, Foxworthy, etc) you'll find a TON of "racist" comments - and lots of whites that laughed that them. Should we now go back and see who was in the audience that laughed? Or find out who may have repeated such off color jokes at work in a private setting and ruin their lives?

This is completely over the top. If these cops were publicly overheared saying racist things, or treating minorities with racist behavior, I'm all for busting them. But when we advocate for private conversations to be audited, and if anything objectionable is found, that is the standard with which we execute someone professionally, I shudder to think how many of us would be left employed...

Shhh... you're letting those pesky facts get in the way of the "america is systemically racist" narrative.

Tucker said the other night that this year, 6 separate stories about nooses being found all over the country have been trumpeted by the media. 100% of them turned out to be fake/hoaxes.

It does beg the question... if America is so racist, why do are there so many reports of racist attacks/nooses that turn out to be staged, fake, or 'misunderstandings'?

When you have to hire two Nigerians to beat you up, I'm guessing real racism is very hard to find.

BTW, speaking of blacks that choose to be victors instead of victims.... These guys make my day:

Illinois Gun Permit Applications Soar 500% As Frightened Liberals Embrace 2nd Amendment

Concealed Carry gun instructor and owner of Safer USA, David Lombardo, says he's had several callers recently who have disclosed their political beliefs while asking him for private one-on-one training because "they don't want anyone to know they're doing the training, let alone going to buy a firearm."
"I have seen the emergence of a new class of students seeking training: anti-Second Amendment liberals," he said.

if you weren't properly prepared for events like this, its too late to play catch up now.
its like trying to buy a generator and a chainsaw after a major hurricane blows through.
Yep. Unless you've got some money you want to blow. I'm still seeing expensive, overpriced 1911s and the like at my local gun stores, along with overpriced ammo.

Regarding the noose in Bubba's garage that turned out to not be a noose:
Where's all that MSM energy (rush to judgement) to report the FBI findings? Did they use it all up to report its initial discovery?

The MSM should be just as inclined to report the truthful outcome as thay are the initial report, which is always laced with their own comments which has nothing to do with the report. Asking them to be objective and unbiased is like asking Rosie O'Donnell to step away from a all-you-can-eat buffet table.

Calling the talking heads on CNN, MSNBC, etc. "journalists" is a slap in the face to those like Edward R. Murrow, Chet Huntley, David Brinkley, Walter Cronkite and the like. After a trip into the woods I clean my worst brier cuts with alcohol, smear on Neosporin and apply a Band-Aid but so far, no one has called me a doctor and asked for a kidney transplant. :headbang:

Keep an eye on Targetsportsusa.com they occasionaly have some great deals when they have stock. About all you can find in 9mm nowadays is premium defensive ammo, Gold Dots, HST, and its $.80+ per round vs $.45 They have had Gold Dots on sale by the case at $.35 a couple of times and I was able to score a couple, goes quick!

A few years ago I bought a military surplus bullet proof vest and helmet thinking I probably would not need them. However from today's stand point they look like a good investment. :) I will not go into what else I have for defense purposes.

Let's see, I'll go to a volcano, right up to the cauldron and if it happens to erupt it's got to be someones fault. I guess not doing any research of my own of the activity level of the volcano doesn't matter because it HAS to be someone else's fault that I'm that damn stupid. I'm sure both Royal Caribbean and the tour operator held guns to their heads and forced them to go on that tour, too.

Poor little entitled millennials.

Destroyed Cleveland cupcake store owner gets threats to shut up or her business will be looted again

The owner of a small cupcake business in Cleveland that was destroyed and looted last month as riots broke out following the death of George Floyd says she’s being threatened with future harm and destruction for cooperating with police.

In an interview with “Fox & Friends” Monday, Kelly Kandah, owner of Colossal Cupcakes, a family business, said the threats include people telling her that if she rebuilds, “it’s going to get hit again.”

I'd call her a "twinkie" but probably "cupcake" is a better name for our precious business owner who sows the winds....

“against the cause, which I’m actually absolutely for the cause, but it’s upsetting people that I would involve the police of something such as property.”

Pretty sure these two are a couple of entitled libs...
I am very sorry that this couple and others had this happen to them but when I read:

"...the couple, wearing face respirators and hard hats given to them by the tour company....."

and then

"Royal Caribbean did nothing to warn them or notify them in any way, shape or form....."

Uh, is it just me or do others here also think that being handed a face respirator and a hard hat is some kind of warning or notification?
