Black lives do not matter when they are killed by other black people. The Democrat party is doing nothing stop this in American's big cities which they control.

UN Deletes Pro-Antifa Tweet After Massive Public Backlash

The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) has removed a social media post that defended the right of Antifa to “freedom of expression” and “peaceful assembly” after considerable backlash following a report from Breitbart News.

The now-deleted post, which also displayed the far-left movement’s flag, said: “UN Human Rights experts express profound concern over a recent statement by the US Attorney-General describing Antifa and other anti-fascist activists as domestic terrorists, saying it undermines the rights to freedom of expression and of peaceful assembly in the country.”

She didn't get the memo that she was supposed to wear all black and have nothing distinctive or identifying visible. The FBI traced her t-shirt to an ETSY site, and ID'd her with her tattoo. Bravo.

Video: Another Seattle CHOP Shooting Leaves One Seriously Wounded

One person was seriously wounded and rushed to hospital late Sunday in the second shooting in Seattle’s CHOP protest zone in less than 48 hours, according to police.

The shooting happened in the area near Seattle’s downtown known as CHOP, for “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest,” police tweeted.

It comes after at least two people were shot, one fatally, inside the same zone early Saturday morning, as Breitbart News reported. Vision from that incident has been released by police and can be seen below:

That shooting remains under investigation and no arrests have been made.

Seattle police abandoned the area in early June after Eastern Precinct Police Headquarters were set ablaze. KIRO7 reports police have since limited their responses to situations that “threaten life and safety.”

In the latest incident, the person arrived in a private vehicle and was in serious condition, Harborview Medical Center spokesperson Susan Gregg said in a statement as reported by AP.

It wasn’t immediately clear where within the zone Sunday night’s shooting took place. The Seattle Fire Department arrived at the scene at 10:46 p.m. and went to a staging area near the zone’s perimeter, fire department spokesperson David Cuerpo told the Seattle Times.

It was soon established the injured person has already been taken away. Both victims in Saturday’s shooting — whose identities hadn’t yet been released — were also transported to the same hospital via private car.

This is the problem with "news". As stated once by Paul Harvey, if something is news, it by definition is rare and unusual. People in general are pretty dumb to focus on fixing bad things that rarely happen rather than fixing even badder things that happen all the time.

I do miss Paul Harvey. Used to listen to him on coffee breaks when I worked for the phone company climbing poles back in the late 70's..

NYC sees staggering shooting numbers; top cops warn of 'storm on the horizon'

The New York Police Department has reported a staggering increase in shooting numbers, and injuries, as officials warn there’s “a storm on the horizon” – and say changes must be made.

An estimated 72 people were wounded in 53 shootings citywide from June 15 through Sunday night, an NYPD spokesperson said Monday morning. The department saw 14 shooting victims in 12 shootings for the same time period last year, data shows.

“We cannot expect the police to go out there and fix laws that are broken… We need bad people held accountable, and right now we have a lack of accountability.”

— Dermot Shea, NYPD Commissioner

Those numbers include a 24-hour period on Saturday that recorded about two dozen shootings in that time frame, the spokesperson confirmed.

NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea said Monday morning that skyrocketing shooting numbers are “just the latest symptom” of a much bigger problem.

“I hope I’m not the only one – it takes a long time to turn a ship – that sees the iceberg directly in front of us,” Shea told NY1 on Monday morning. “We’ve been trending this way for a while.”

Destroyed Cleveland cupcake store owner gets threats to shut up or her business will be looted again

The owner of a small cupcake business in Cleveland that was destroyed and looted last month as riots broke out following the death of George Floyd says she’s being threatened with future harm and destruction for cooperating with police.

In an interview with “Fox & Friends” Monday, Kelly Kandah, owner of Colossal Cupcakes, a family business, said the threats include people telling her that if she rebuilds, “it’s going to get hit again.”

I just read way too many of these 15 pages. Very entertaining, and I'm heartened by the number of pro-conservative/Trump posts. I was an active commenter at ZeroHedge for 9+ years, and just had my account banned (as did many others) due to the Google ad crackdown on their comment section. The world is getting smaller and smaller.

One thing that I think is problematic about the polarization regarding police is that if you say anything even remotely critical of LEO's, you're immediately labeled a lefty. Likewise, if you say something pro cop, you're a racist. If only it would be that simple.

I think there is a huge problem with policing - none (or certainly very little of it) having to do with racism. Instead, I think there is a general sense of cops to think they're above the law. And this happens for two reasons... One is qualified immunity (QI)- where they are, for most things, immune to personal claims/suits, and two, there is an 11th commandment which states "Thous shalt never snitch on a fellow brother in blue".

Exchanging QI for a market-based malpractice insurance (or general liability, or whatever you want to call it) would address both of these issues. Doctors, who arguably have multiples more income and personal wealth, have no QI. Yet, they are targeted incessantly by ambulance-chasing lawyers who portray all doctors as negligent, incompetent, and greedy in ads that run 24/7.

Bad doctors with multiple settlement/judgments see their premiums skyrocket - making them uninsurable. Partnerships and practices, and hospitals require their physicians to maintain their malpractice insurance at given limits. If that is no longer attainable, they're employment is over. And, just like your credit rating, insurance risk rating sticks with the insured - not the employer. So if you suck at one place, your inability to get coverage follows you.

Because of QI, cops currently have no skin in the game. They are essentially free of consequence - even if their department has to pay out millions in settlements. And, IF they get fired, they simply work for the next county. And having a fellow cop complain about an abusive partner is all but career suicide. Look up FHP Trooper Jane Watts to see what happens when one cop tries to apply the law to another.

But, if insurance were mandated, underwriters would maintain the database (ChoicePoint/LexisNexis, etc) and it would weed out the bad ones.

Good cops are powerless to stop the rogue ones. It's why the three cops watching Floyd get snuffed out didn't do anything. The fact that they got charged is good, because hopefully in their defense, the can bring up the very real problem of speaking out against bad behavior of fellow blue - and the career-ending consequences that result.

Jane Watts was let go because it was unsafe for her to continue patrolling the streets. The supervisors were concerned that her fellow cops would delay in responding to any calls she may make for backup. What does that tell you about the current state of policing.

“It was definitely in the shape of a noose. It wasn’t a functioning noose,” Wallace said.

Moral of the story: all knots are assumed guilty until proven innocent.
