Last week they shut down the Wuhan flu testing centers on the East coast because of the hurricane. Expect there to be a spike in Wuhan Flu cases and hysteria by the leftist and they're mainstream fake news media. The spike will only be due to the backlog.

Don't worry @Oceanslider we don't need a hurricane to get worked up over the spikes. The results from tests are already so delayed that a few days of additional delay won't matter.

But today most of us were too busy giggling at the "Yo-semites" gaff to get overly concerned with hurricane testing delays. This of course set off raging debates over the ethics of laughing at a clearly mentally ill man. That, and still doing Facepalms over the Swan/Axios interview. I'm surprised his handlers allowed that interview to go on as long as it did, or didn't find a way to confiscate the tapes.

Yeah no shit on the Axios interview that guy Jonathan Swan was/is a mini Acosta. Definitely partisan hack.

Busy work day today, but here's an article explaining why Jared's national COVID-19 testing plan never materialized:

This is a well-researched and in-depth piece of journalism. The right wing press will try to punch holes in it for sure. But it lines up with public facts nicely and explains things I've seen that are less public.
I'm afraid I cannot take this article seriously and I'll explain why. Take this statement presented as fact: "Worried about the stock market and his reelection prospects, Trump also feared that more testing would only lead to higher case counts and more bad publicity. " There is no substantiation or attribution for it. It's simply something the author had the opportunity to throw in there because she could. Doesn't matter if it's correct or not, it's falsely presented as a fact. Without the author having heard a statement from Trump, or having somebody willing to go on record as having heard it, the author is throwing in something that doesn't belong there. If it could be substantiated the author should have done that, or otherwise left it out. When I see something like this in an article, I'm left wondering what else is the personal conclusion or wishful thinking of the author.

I can't think of any source I trust these days. The lefties want Trump to be wrong even if it costs lives. The righties want Trump to be right even if it costs lives. Most or all of the "factual" articles are tailored and manipulated so the facts reflect the target outcome. When Trump floated HCQ, the left's reaction should have been to support honestly determining the facts and hoping he was right. Instead they threw their "He's killing people" tantrum.

Anything from Vanity Fair is likely a Trump hit piece. Searching for "Vanity Fair Trump", this is what I got on the first page:
Trump’s Planning to Throw Everything He Can At Biden
Trump’s TikTok Vendetta Could Be a Political Land Mine
Trump Seems To Think TV Can Solve His Coronavirus Failures
How Sarah Cooper Trumped Donald Trump—Without Saying a Word
What If Trump Had Actually Responded to Coronavirus Like a Rational Person?
Trump’s Aides, Desperate to Please Him, Keep Trying to Hold Campaign Rallies
We Have to Be Prepared for Trump Losing”: As Chaos Engulfs Trump Campaign

The 2nd page has 10 Trump hit pieces, 3rd page 9 hit pieces, and so forth. Zero headlines that sounded neutral or positive toward Trump. Kinda-sorta sounds to me like Vanity Fair is just another anti-Trump organization trying to look like something else.

Is this a joke? Just wear the mask for God's sake; there is no need to personalize it. People are buying this mask, putting dye on, potentially ruining filtration capabilities. We're not in this pandemic forever. It will eventually be treated as a seasonal thing like the Flu until it gets fully eradicated (if it ever will be). ;)
See the pictures accompanying the reviews
