Kyle Rittenhouse will not face gun charges in Lake County related to the AR-15-style weapon he is charged with using to kill two men and wound a third during violent protests in Kenosha in August, prosecutors announced Tuesday.

An Antioch police investigation found that the Smith & Wesson .223 caliber rifle “was purchased, stored and used in Wisconsin” and turned up no evidence the 17-year-old “physically possessed” the weapon in Illinois, according to a news release from the office of Lake County State’s Attorney Mike Nerheim. The news release does not reveal who is believed to have bought or held the gun before the shooting.

A tactic that has been taught by Antifa for years and more recently by BLM is to run up on someone, preferably from behind or the side, making motions that you are going to hit them, but abruptly stop very close to them and raise your hands like you are surrendering. If that does not elicit a strike from the person, then they drop their arms in a striking position hoping for a strike and then repeat the cycle all over again. You can see this happen in the video where Grosskreutz points his handgun at Kyle but then raises his hands in a surrender position and Kyle lowers his rifle muzzle a little and then Grosskreutz lowers his arms and points the gun at Kyle for a second time and Kyle then shoots Grosskreutz in the bicep.

I don't know what life is like in Lin Wood's world, but it doesn't sound that good to me.

That bail is ridiculous. Bail is supposed to be an amount that is not meant to keep someone in jail until trial. It is supposed to be set at an amount that is obtainable but will ensure the accused will show up to court. He has already demonstrated he is not a flight risk. He turned himself in.

Rittenhouse had as much right to be there as the rioters burning and looting the city. Even though he was too young to legally possess the AR he's within his rights to defend himself with it if necessary.

Each one of those looters and terrorists deserved a bullet to the head. It is obvious that you have never built a business with blood sweat and tears if you can tell someone to sit back and let it be destroyed because there is insurance coverage (big assumption on your part).

Earlier this summer Antifa/BLM put a call on social media to converge on a small town in Oregon and roll 'em up. "Give them a taste of blm justice" I think was the term used. The idea being, I suppose, that small town 'hicks' would be easy targets.

The people of that town turned out to "welcome" them armed and ready to defend themselves and their town. They stood guard in every store front and confined the would-be terrorists to a small vacant lot. Police turned out, too. City, County and State more to protect the thugs from the citizens than the other way around. After a couple hours of shouting their stupid slogans they packed up and left.

This illustrates the difference between citizens protecting themselves proactively and just waiting for the police or national guard to do it for them as they did in Kenosha. A few more like Rittenhouse might have saved Kenosha, and the rest, too.
