Known around here
That was very early on, before I knew any better.
My only concern with these is they state they start at 3/8 thick, trying to find one for 1/4 I am going to go look at these at a local hardware store to see if I am missing something.those toggle bolts will hold up a flat screen TV on drywall. u would be good with using 1 in the middle of the box, and to hold up the cameara. They will work fine with your 1/4 soffit

I may just try screws at first instead of drilling a 1/2 hole for these toggles...
Thanks everyone...
if you use the the right ones , they areYou could also use Molly bolts. Those plastic anchors are meant for sheetrock/concrete, not 1/4" composites. Four Molly's or toggle bolts and you could hang off of the camera as long as th soffit was properly installed.
I ending up silicon chalking the middle cable hole on the PFA130-E Mount, used o ring washers for the mounting screws, I did not have the rubber splicing tape suggested in the Cliff Notes so I used Teflon tape on both ends of the Waterproof Connecter then wrapped electrical tape on top of the Teflon tape so hopefully it will help incase of moisture/humidity.@David L just dont use command strips
NVR5216-16P-I can detect line quality. Some notes about the 09092021 FW:
First, I must say that the color night view is really exiting.
I could expect to see only the near area where the leds are pointing but it's getting the light from every source and I can even see the blue sky. Really nice.
I encountered FW 09/08 using smart coding + VBR (Bast 6), when the static the stream code value is abnormally high.Be careful with 07/09 as this is not as stable as 6/11 as I mentioned before due to underlying issues already reported. 09/08 is an improvement over 6/11 & 07/09 BUT not perfect, a few bugs still outstanding as i mentioned.
I’ve not had any dropped connections on 09/08 in over 3 weeks of uptime. If you’re seeing physical connection drops try and fault isolate back to POE starting with the switch or NVR. If using managed switches then you can check the logs around the time you see the issue.
HTH
Definitely try the initializing, yes and see if that helps. I don’t see this issue on 09/08 on 2x 5849 cams so being able to isolate in your config would be good.I encountered FW 09/08 using smart coding + VBR (Bast 6), when the static the stream code value is abnormally high.
Flashing back to FW 07/09, using smart coding + VBR (Bast 6), the stream code value is reduced a lot.
Streaming code value of 4000kb/s can be reduced to 1000kb/s
Maybe it was caused by the fact that I did not initialize the firmware after updating it.

We dig further, try to make the cam as perfect as we can.Man I need to learn all this jargon y’all are talking. My cameras look good out the box lol
