I do think there is more to a camera than just the sensor. I think it's a bit like a car and the engine. Sure it's the most important part but if the gearbox is rubbish etc.

Sensor needs a lens for starters!

Seems that smtsec one has a crap dome but good sensor but terrible software.

Asking for a video.... hmmm not sure I trust them, even the vendors I have had good service off. It's not the same as buying local I've found.

i actually just send them a message, if it is possible to send me a video recorder preferable at night and day time with this camera and put a mirror in front of it as evidence.

Doubt it, Longse is probably the biggest not well known camera manufacturer. Nearly every generic looking cctv camera you see is from Longse (or cantonk) Some company... I think.

I quite like to not have to login to each camera to play with the settings. I can get pretty much any camera to work with a Hikvision NVR.

Very good point! I take it the motion detection you can't setup in the Hikvision NVR (sorry for so many questions).

Frankly I haven't tried it in NVR, I set it up in Longse UI and it works extremely well unlike Huisun
