Head Scratcher! I'm baffled and out of ideas....

Here's the deal: I have three phones, one Iphone and two androids. The Iphone and Android work with the phone app and using the ipctddns through this site. The two phones belong to a friend and I set them up for him a couple years ago. One phone is mine and I keep a copy of his server on my...

Is there a way to delete clips, en masse?

Yeah, I know it's Windows and I had a eureka moment the first time you posted it. Don't know why I didn't try that to begin with. Brain dead I guess....

Is there a way to delete clips, en masse?

I have a friend that I installed Bi for and he's a long distance truck driver. When he gets home he sometimes has an overwhelming number of clips to delete for the time he's been on the road. Is there a way to delete them en masse, with a few keystrokes? Thanks Bob T.

Cannot acces my Camera Hikvision DS-2CD2132-I

You don't mention the browser you're using. I use Chrome and it has limited functionality (no video and some functions cannot be accessed but I can open the web interface via the browser). Try a different browser. The web interface only works correctly with IExplorer......Try IE to enter the IP...

A tale of two BI UI's, one good, one bad

Duh? First thing I tried.....No worky..... You're a genius! Oh, and just when I thought I'd pressed/clicked on every obscure icon on that panel, alas there's one that I didn't try.....Thanks for assuming that I actually know what that little green icon meant, 'cause I don't. "Solo" selected...

Port forwarding- Ports cease to work after a day or so

Thanks all for the responses. I eventually used the DMZ in the interim as we waited on a new router. After installing a much more modern router (lynksys) the port forwarding works as advertised. The router choice was the system owner. As for me, I have switch to an ASUS and soon to set up VPN.

A tale of two BI UI's, one good, one bad

I have two new Bi installs, one in my home and the other in a friends home. I had Bi4 installed for a few years before installing Bi5, my friend's installation is entirely new to him. Anyway, in my installation (as it was in Bi4) you can drag cameras simply by selecting the camera by clicking...

Port forwarding- Ports cease to work after a day or so

So, I set up a system for a friend. On three separate occasions I've have to change Port Numbers from 1080 to 1081 and now tonight, to 1082 else my friend cannot access BI 5 via his phone..... About his system: He's using a D-Link router (very old) supplied by T-Mobile whose Ip is set to...

    New Hikvision Cam rejects password?

Well, just for information purposes only, there is a reset button on the inside of the camera that when depressed and held (before power is applied) then plugging in the power (keep holding the reset for about 10 seconds), will reset the camera back to "inactive" and the default IP. You can then...

So it's going to need a submission to Hik to recover it? No need for a response, I know the answer to this question...Still miffed and confused as to how this happened as I set up 6 others with nary a problem....
