This model supports smart tracking but it's a "dumb" version of it. Meaning it will be triggered by any object in motion. I'd suggest playing with min. and max. size when creating a smart event if possible. If not, see if you can put the PTZ on the latest firmware. If this also does not help...

When using 9 or 16 title mode, it uses substream. So if the DS-KB8112-IM is not displaying any image on said mode, it usually means there's something wrong with the substream. Can you show me your substream configuration of the door station?

Is it always the same camera that asks for the encryption key? Which models and firmware?

Have you successfully initialised the SD card? Can you try and re-install the webplugin? Also check IE with administrator rights and see if you're able to see the files.
