After the Lechange app updated. I reset the DB10 back to defaults, deleted it from the app, then added it back to Lechange.
The Lechange App has not found a firmware update for the door bell.
So, at this point nothing has changed.
Still can't answer a call made from the doorbell, nor will audio work when attempting from the app.
It still won't record video to the SD card, even after the cloud account expired.

Ive got the Ring2 bell, the nightvision seems better on mine. Daytime seems about the same. Agree with others, it would be nice if these devices were POE.

I was looking at the ring but ideally want something that will connect to my nvr. Might just have to wait until something descent comes around.

I wasnt that fussed about getting one, they are approx £200 in the UK but a large electrical store has recently gone into liquidation so they were selling them for £129. Overall im pleased with it, the battery was charged at the start and im 2 months in and still 35% left so not bad.

As i talked with some guys at dahua & Hikvision, the time delay right now still a big problem for this kind of wifi door bell. Door bell sensors start up need 2-3 seconds because it's sleeping if no one come in, and then send data to APP Server need around 2 seconds to transfer, so that is why have 5-6 seconds delay, i checked the Ring one with the battery, also has delay. So the solution maybe better logic calculations or install a PIR/Sensors before door bell, then it has enough time to activate the door bell. Currently some cheap wifi door bell may need around 10seconds. For the battery using, this mainly based on the activate time each day. Dahua will release a DB11 soon with Wired. This can make the door bell all days working.

Guess what guys?...........

Bit f’n annoyed... had the DB10 for a few months, works ooookkk, but not consistently...
Like everyone else, I figured it would be sorted w’ firmwares...

Well, looks like it’s gonna be ‘legacy’ now, so ‘no longer supported’

I’m gonna take a stab here....

They rushed parts spec’ing on the original, got it 80-90% right, said “We’ll sort out the rest w’ firmware down the track”, then realised when trying to upload 1st firmware that the hardware wasn’t capable of it...?

Now I gotta hunt down this one...

I REALLY hope everything gets sorted on the DB11....

That' just fcked, what a waste of money!
Mine has never worked and has been sitting in its box for the last few months. I thought eventually there would be a firmware update to fix it, but I guess not.

The DB11 is a lot smaller than the DB10. The DB11 can be powered off of AC or DC (wired power), it doesn't have a wired ethernet connection. The photos aren't high enough res to get much detail, but I think both the DB10 and DB11 use HiSilicon SoC.

Looking quickly at the filings, it looks like they did improve the wifi performance of the DB11. The DB11 supports 802.11n in both 20MHz and 40MHZ bandwidths, the DB10 filing only mentions 802.11n at 20MHz. Chip antenna looks the same, but the boards are very different. It looks like the DB11 achieves better signal strength at lower output power.

The DB11 doesn't support 5GHz wifi.

The manual showing that we need to use LeChange to set up probably mean that there will be no WebGUI access on it.

Well isn't that lovely. Last I checked the DB10, it still has not received a firmware update, and is still lying on my work bench un-used.
This should be interesting....

Well, LeChange App Update today...
Updates the Doorbell to 2.0 too.
Then it goes flat. For the hundredth time. Typical.
Let’s hope there’s a miraculous recovery of a reputation is in the upgrade too...

Just did it...
Massive changes!
Only had it 2 minutes, but the app GUI is better, functions better, now it ding-dongs @ the doorbell...
Which will flatten it even QUICKER.

Hopefully battery life is VASTLY improved, still got a 2nd BNIB...

Time will tell...

Update:-
-THE HD STREAM ACTUALLY STREAMS NOW!!!
-App now has wifi & battery meter above feed now! (Click on icons for DETAILED info. too!)
-Tells you it’s ‘Waking up the devide’ When you want to view live feed, instead of NOT waking up.
Nice

But...
Now when I answer, only audio...
Says ‘call connected’ up top, & ‘disconnected’ on video?!@&$

If that sorts itself out, it’s looking promising...

UPDATE:-, after rebooting phone, that issue is resolved, functions as should, and after playing with it for 24ish hours, it’s looking like a whole new product...
More options would still be nice tho pre-record, (there is POST-REC add time now tho), IR on/off, etc,

I guess its time to wipe the dust off the DB10 and give it a go..
