Not sure why ReoLink defaults ONVIF to Off but you will need to turn that On before your NVR will see it. In order to do that you will need to setup the ReoLink first without your NVR which will require either a POE injector/POE Switch or a doorbell transformer or likes of to Power up the doorbell.

That's good to hear, well done! So in reality it turns out that the brickfixV2 method wasn't needed - as the device wasn't bricked, and wasn't a Chinese camera. Don't be - all these experiences are also helpful to others when you post about them. We all learn by sharing, it's all good.
