    I'd also probably go with different model cameras, especially for the residential installs with less ambient light. I can't compete with what 1 company pays for the lite series 4k w ai cameras. I cant purchase 100 at a time, but i can offer beter low light cameras and still make money.

    Just looking at some of the 52xx - EI NVRs without built in poe ports they only have 1 NIC. That sux if you want the nvr between the cameras and your network. Do you have to upgrade to a 32 or 64 channel NVR to get 1 with dual NICs?

    If you have flashed the wrong firmware, you can't reset using. If this is correct the seller should know.

    Bumping this thread to say using the proper switches, GIG ports with higher throuput eliminates lag and lets you run the cameras at 8192 or higher bit rate. We have played around with h264 vs h265. We are using cheap chineese switches with 2 uplink ports to overcome distance in large area...
