Hacked DAHUA cam and added that names

Of course. But only when the entire internet is allowed to access the cameras when port forwarding has been configured. Which is convenient, for external access, but such a risky and dumb thing to do.

Hikvision nvr dont work with cisco ip camera

Yes, that's correct, if the ONVIF port is 80, it's not shown in the URI.

Hikvision nvr dont work with cisco ip camera

554 will be the RTSP port, not the 'ONVIF port'.

    Random beeping from HikVision DS-7608NI-E2/8P/A

Against what attributes? These may indicate a failing HDD. This will simply be read/write activity. IE11 does still exist in Win10 and Win11, just a bit hidden. Lots of posts here on how to gain access to it.

Hikvision nvr dont work with cisco ip camera

The 'ONVIF port' can be seen in the URI at the bottom of the Identification panel. The RTSP string can be seen at the bottom of the Live Video panel.

Hikvision nvr dont work with cisco ip camera

Have you specified the 'ONVIF port' as shown in ONVIF Device Manager? Sometimes it's not 80. Have you tried if it will connect via RTSP using a Custom protocol, using the RTSP string from ONVIF Device Manager?

    Random beeping from HikVision DS-7608NI-E2/8P/A

These tests are quite broad-brush, and will show as 'OK' even when the drive has had to re-allocate failed sectors or is unable to complete an operation. Unless you've already done so - dig down and check out the actual values of the SMART attributes for any counts that indicate the drive has...

Just for fun - IMX307 starlight camera module - Hik compatible.

Looking back at my notes - I never did get any stock firmware for the board. But I did dump the flash partitions, and take a look around the filesystem, see the attachment. A root shell can be had by connecting to the serial console, and interrupting the bootloader and modifying the bootargs...

Hikvision FIRMWARE TOOLS - change language, extract files and create own firmware

The tool certainly allowed early versions of the firmware to be unpacked, inspected, understood, tweaked and repacked. But Hikvision has progressively improved how the firmware is packed and protected from tampering to the point where it's no longer feasible to modify it now.

Hikvision FIRMWARE TOOLS - change language, extract files and create own firmware

Changing the firmware will not change the camera from being a Chinese model - unless the firmware has been specifically hacked to ignore the internal stamp applied during manufacture of the camera that specifies it as Chinese.

Hikivision hilook nvr with 3rd party cameras 4 work on motion detection ONE does not?

Also - the Events section of ODM will show, independent of the NVR, if the camera is actually generating motion events for the NVR to be triggered by. Compare the events from one of the working cameras. But ODM will need valid credentials to log in to the camera. ** Edit ** From what I recall -...

    Hikvision boot prompt

I'm speculating that the structure of the configuration file has changed in the new firmware, and the firmware applied is no longer able to convert the old format into the updated one, maybe because intermediate firmware versions which could do that were skipped. What was the original and...

    NVR or NAS?

It's too open-ended a question to give a useful and helpful response. What does the camera setup consist of / specs / resolution /qty etc? What do you aim to achieve / who will be using the system / for what / how frequently / level of experience / etc?

HIKVision NVR DS-7608NI-I2/8P and DS-2CD2083G0-I Camera not working together

Did you initialise to 'inactive' the camera before connecting it to an NVR PoE port? What message if any did the NVR show when the camera was connected? Unless the camera is a Chinese model, I'd expect it to work ok with that NVR.

After power outage HIK NVR was reset and no CAM is being identified

It may be that there is now a mismatch between the camera IP address (originally assigned by the NVR when the camera was first connected and 'activated') and the IP address that the NVR channel expects to find the camera at, which could have changed after the NVR reset to default settings. Also...

    Headless NVR Configuration & Administration?

On a On a new, inactive, Hikvision NVR - use SADP to activate / set admin password, set IP address / gateway then browser into the web GUI for detailed configuration. No need to hook up the VGA/HDMI interface and a monitor, or to change the PC IP address.

    Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD-I

OK - that's a model number that doesn't resolve in a simple Google search - but it's probably an E-series NVR. The specs say 6MP max, so 4K cameras would not work well, plus its decoder for the VGA/HDMI output is limited to h.264 though the web GUI with webcomponents plugin (IE11) overcomes that...

    Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD-I

I think that model number is in error - can you re-check it so the specs can be verified? That's as much about the lens focal length selection as the camera resolution. Here is some good advice on that topic ...

    DS-7732ni-i4/24p with no password

That would be my choice of method. You'd need an RS232 (not TTL serial) interface, probably with a null modem cable, to connect to the DB9 connector on the back panel. And a normal tftp server such as this one : https://pjo2.github.io/tftpd64/ And a serial terminal program such as PuTTY...

    Same Hikvision Camera/Code but different

I believe the suffix letter in the round brackets at the end of the model number denotes differences in internal hardware, apparently due to supply chain issues. This is why there are firmware variations for apparently the same model. Do both cameras have the (C) suffix at the end of the model...

    R0 / DS-2CD2x32 BrickfixV2 brick recovery and full upgrade tool - enhanced.

The PoE switch can get in the way of the slightly marginal timing of the Hikvision tftp updater tool. It works best when powering the camera with a 12v supply, and with the camera and PC on their own ports on a switch / router.
