    Yes. The 3449 Pro is equal or better IMHO at light pickup at night in B&W/IR than even the 5442. Its is very close all around. As I mention in my testing, there is a bit more noise than the 5442 but it’s manageable. See this thread, page 6 & 7...

    Too bad you didn’t read the rest of my post. I’m not disagreeing that they’ve released a lot of junk. To @Arjun 's point they, like most all others, are focused on AI, Active Defense, wireless, consumer models, and other features vs improving their newly introduced SOC or bigger sensors.

    Go into the NVR and do a playback Prior to when you made the change.Take a snapshot. Is the time on the playback right? If the time is off, any recording up to the time you made the DST setting change will be off an hour

    There is a known DST bug on older NVRs. I don’t know if it’s in new ones. It typically will clear itself at midnight after you make the switch you made. The cameras get their time from the NVR. DMSS just plays what the NVR gives it.

    The 3449 Pro is very close to being a good camera. No ghosting issues, all of the light functions are customizable, it just has some sensor noise that you can really only see on a real computer monitor. But it’s manageable

    I don’t disagree on coverage, but that wasn’t his question 8 months ago. He was complaining he was getting false alerts from IVS intrusion and shows a pic with it happening. I still think he had SMD/MD enabled on the camera as he’s working in the NVR interface and SMD/MD was causing his false...

    It will make a difference on some things. It’s buggy. But maybe not your DMSS problem. I don’t have the latest version but I have seen others say they had issues a few weeks ago that are improved now. Might check and manually see if there’s an update.

    Yes these They can activate the white LEDs on Tripwire/Intrusion, or you can set them to be on with a schedule Or You can set the time the white LEDs stay on with no movement, mine is set to 60 seconds You can or not have the circus lights and siren activate as well. I dont use either...
