    OK so by the sounds of it basically buy new cameras and NVR at the same time if I want to get better motion detection. I searched the current NVR for logs, i dont think it keeps any.

    Hey guys, How do the hik/dauha low light cams compare? The dauha starlight I'm looking at is the 5231. I'm looking at 4 of them plus the NVR at around 800$ usd. Are the hik a better value? What would be the equivalent hik setup cost? What hik model numbers would you recommend?
