Dahua vs Ubiquiti IR mode - Ubiquiti does not like LED light

I have them now outside. The Ubiquiti already switched to IR while the Dahua did it 7 minutes later. On the Ubiquiti the sensitivity is low and on the Dahua middle. As you can see on the Ubiquiti the green leaves are rose, the garage is still yellow and the car is still red: The Dahua 7...

Dahua vs Ubiquiti IR mode - Ubiquiti does not like LED light

@TonyR, i thought the Ubiquiti cam is maybe broken and that's the reason i ask them. The answer was: "All of my G3 cams see LED lights as green. They are not faulty. I turned on my yard light and took a screenshot." And in his screenshot where his yard light is the snow is green. @usaf_pride...

Dahua vs Ubiquiti IR mode - Ubiquiti does not like LED light

Its a observation and only a problem because i know now that others like Dahua do not look like that :) I ask at the Ubiquiti forum and its normal with there cams - if somebody with a LED flashlight passes by it's green... For a cam that cost ~ $230 if you also by the LED IR Range Extender...

Dahua vs Ubiquiti IR mode - Ubiquiti does not like LED light

Just found out that the Ubiquiti cam does not like LED light (green tinge). The HDW5231R-Z does not have that problem.

How to view Dahua cameras without browser plugins

I just realized that you cant set permissions in Pale Moon: In Iridium the permissions are there but no video because of the plugin. Pain in the butt to use 2 browsers to manage the cams :-(

Simple App with maybe kiosk mode?

I can't figure out that anonymous user thing. In the web server settings i have Non-LAN only. There i did put in something that does not exist and then was getting a anonymous user in the user settings. This one is enabled and set to "LAN only" but i still get the login page?

Simple App with maybe kiosk mode?

@Vettester, what happens when 2 cams detect motion? Also people can go to the BI app settings - or I'm missing something? @TonyR, i was more looking for a solution without BI so that i can use the streams directly from the cams (no additional stress on the BI server). Also i guess a app can...

Simple App with maybe kiosk mode?

Is there a simple App with maybe some kind of kiosk mode? In TinyCam or the Bi App there are to many options or buttons you can click. If you have a tablet wall mounted and there is a wife or kids in the house... I think the only thing that should work is viewing all cams at the same time...

    Watercolor effect

IPC-HDW5231R-Z vs UVC 3G But the topic is not which one is better. Its more about the watercolor effect on those cams (surveillance cams). But i just realized that all the colors look funny on the UVC.

    Watercolor effect

Got my Dahua cams and now i'm playing around. What i did realize with the cams is that the image looks like watercolor in some parts. Made two comparison videos and the Dahua is sharper but the tree's really look like watercolor. https://skulltronics.net/share/fixed/20180416_UVC-G3.mp4...

What do you use for Blue Iris server remote access

I'm testing Proxmox right now and did a RD video test and i can play a H.264 4K [23.976fps][125Mbps][8bit] demo without problems. The VM in Proxmox is Win 10 and the workstation is Win 8.1. The 4K video I'm playing in 10 and viewing in the RDC on the workstation is also played back from a share...

    Blue Iris Hardare Requirements

I guess i will try a Core i3-8100 Coffee Lake. Cant find the i3-8100T at the moment here in Germany. Edit: Ok, the Coffee boards are yet expensive. I wonder how big the difference between a Pentium G4600 and Core i3-7100 in BI is. Both have 2 cores and 4 threads and the PassMark is just 5129...

    Blue Iris Hardare Requirements

I still don't understand what the CPU does if BI is using Quick Sync. If i buy a Kaby Lake that has the same score like a Haswell on cpubenchmark.net then the Kaby should perform better because of the HD 630 vs HD 4400. So it should make no difference if it's a Pentium, i3, i5 or i7... Then the...

    Blue Iris Android app crash

I just bought the app and it crashes on a 4.4.2 and on a 4.4.4 device. Can't test it on 6.0.1 because that device is Google free. Need to mail/ask them first if they have standalone license key's.

    H.264 live stream URL?

I found this table: A Bit on Bit Rates And i also downloaded the Dahua Disk Calculator. I wonder about the bitrate that the calculator buts in as default - seems really low. H.264/3MP/15fps = 2048 ?? Then Dahu has Smart H.264/5+ Is that just another word for VBR? I also did read the IPCamTalk...

    H.264 live stream URL?

    1. I want to record 1080p with 10 fps to save disk space (i believe 10 is enough) 2. In my LAN/WLAN for live view i want to stream 15 fps (some clients 1080p and some 720p) 3. On my phone when not at home (G4) i'm unsure what resolution, fps, bitrate would be the best. In TinyCam i see there is...

Junction Box - round or square?

Yes but the IPC-HDW4231EM-AS is round. In the drawing of a IPC-HFW5231E-Z5 they don't have the distance of the holes. They PFA130-E seems to have holes for square mounting on a 68.5 mm diameter. I also wonder if not this will happen:

It seems like it was an overlay error. After a new start of BI the line was gone and it says "evaluation version"

Junction Box - round or square?

If i look into the Dahua Accessory Selection: http://www.dahuasecurity.com/asset/upload/download/Accessory_Selection_201712294.pdf I wonder about the PFA130-E (round) for the HFW5 cams. All the images of HFW5's show a square mounting but in the PDF they are round?

    H.264 live stream URL?

Sorry Tony we have a misunderstanding. I have the cam showing up/working in BI. What i need is the URL/Setup to stream the cam from BI to another device/client. I saw now that the Dahua cams have in the specs: Max. User Access: 10 Users/20 Users Streaming Capability: 3 Streams What does that...

    H.264 live stream URL?

I can't figure out how to set up live stream URLs. I can directly stream from the cam with rtsp://[username]:[password]@[CamIPaddress]:[port]/s1 How do i do it in BI? That also brings up another question: To how many clients can you directly stream from a cam? There must be a limit. In no cam...

Arduino Uno with Ethernet shield INPUT/OUTPUT to Blue Iris.

ot? You mean MQTT? Thats something i really like. I don't know what others do to videos with sensors... But that means it's easy for example to send something with a NodeMCU (ok, i'm not a fan of WLAN - i prefer RFM69). My main idea was to send a image to Telegram (i don't use Whatsapp) if...
