Webserver Issue Using Multiple Network Cards
Ive faced similar issues, and after a series of reboots/time, I am able to select the correct NICS. I am unsure what is causing this though. I wonder if there's a config file you could try manually tweaking to the right IP? (and/or if that would actually work) -

Then pick a CPU, GPU (assuming the app handles gpu acceleration) and RAM that is of higher spec than you currently have, and run off an SSD - ie. the basics. Once you have the equipment, clone the original disk, clear out the old drivers, install the new and you should be up and running... -

Before you actually upgrade, have you performed all the BI tweaks for CPU gain? I ran an i7-2600, with 6 cameras at 8mp at around 30% cpu. I don’t know your setup, but there may be life in the old dog yet! -

Windows 10 is so versatile/robust, you can absolutely butcher a migration, and with some good BCD knowledge you’re back up and running. I wouldn’t be worried about cloning or license activation, but then again, I’m very much a suck it and see guy. As you elude to, the guys original kit will... -

Question about BI4 vs BI5
There were (and maybe still a few small teething issues), but AFAIK all can be fixed/overcome now. So in general I feel BI5 is production ready. I switched my BI4 instance to BI5 around 6 weeks ago now, and it's been fine. Granted, don't just take my word for it.- Vini

Almost certainly yes, and if not, you can install the required drivers within safe mode. The key "thing" to watch for would be Legacy (BIOS)/UEFI mismatch, which is fixable, but a mismatch could result in a non-booting machine making things slightly trickier. I would guess, based on its age... -

Looking at it more closely it was; - Idle with BI 14%-18% - Idle with BI & HWinfo64 (svc) 20%-25% - Idle with BI & HWinfo64 (svc) & HWinfo64 (exe) 26%-32% I do also run a couple of VM's in Hyper-V on here (PiHole, Unifi, LetsEncrypt), but as they're resource limited to only 10% of the CPU, I... -

I've found the culprit. I'd converted the monitoring app I use (HWinfo64) from an executable that is set to "Run at Logon" via Sched Task, to a Service, but I'd left the Sched Task active, meaning it was running as a service (no logon) but then for a second time when I logged in via RDP... -

But surely on RDP log off (signing out of Win), that user env goes away. One test I have not done is a simple RDP login, and log off straight away. I guess if the spike exists it’s nothing to do with BI UI. -

I can't see any reference to copying profile settings in the help file. I'm assuming the feature has been dropped... there must be a hacky way. -

I run BI5 as a Service, on Windows 10. My machine has nothing else on it. It is headless, and I connect via RDP. If I RDP in, open the BI GUI, close the BI gui and then logoff Windows, my CPU usage is roughly 10-15% higher than that of a clean boot, as if something additional is left... -

Due to shadows at different times of the day I've broken my profiles/schedules up, from simply day/night, to morning, day, afternoon, night. Due to my OCD, I want to move my old "night" profile from Slot 2, to Slot 4. In BI4, I could simply have copied #2 and pasted into #4. I can't see how... -

Has anyone found a nice/easy way to copy profiles in BI5? I don't wish to sync with Profile 1. Simply having the option of which Profile to sync with would be ideal. I've tried copying Registry data under /Motion/ from one "profile" to another, but BI seems to ignore this... I suspect I've... -

I've lied, there's a problem still. Under Motion Settings, on all profiles except the first, it had reverted to Non HD, and Simple algorithm for each camera. Meaning that detection zones etc were lost. -

Took the plunge. Downloaded the latest FULL installer, which wierdly, is 5.0.0.57 (yet the update, only shows 5.0.0.56). The migration seems to have gone perfectly now. No post upgrade issues. YMMV! -

Yup, 5.0.0.54 has switched back to Sync with Profile 1. This definitely worked in 5.0.0.45
