Are you connected directly to the camera or are you trying to update the camera through the network? If through the network then try connecting to the camera directly
Downgrade the firmware manually using the old version of config tool. When I called the company that supplied the equipment, they remotely accessed my computer and that's what the tech support guy did
The ptz cameras have two firmwares
One for the ptz aspect
And one for something else
Update them both, it might help. Also I think the firmware on my camera is from late 2016 (not sure exact date)
Not sure what firmware as I'm away from home, but I haven't experienced any issues with focus.
Try changing the focus type to semi auto if not done so already
hi there,
I've just had a local security company who specialises in Dahua kit, install ITC237-PU1A-IRHL at mine. So far the camera works as expected, it reads all number plates fine and without error. I was just wondering if there is a way to get the web view feed to display on a screen so I can...
If you connect the mic to the NVR would the sound recordings playback whenever you watch any stream (any cameras recording)
And if you connect the mic directly to a camera would the sound recordings be associated with the footage from that camera only?
Thanks
I've got the same issue where the cam reboots when connected to switch that has internet connection, funnily it's only 1 out of the 3 dahua cameras that does it. In the meantime I have just connected the camera directly to the POE port on the NVR and it works fine
Hi
I've got a SD59220T PTZ and recently updated the firmware as it was on a really old version. But I've noticed now when I move it (pan, tilt or zoom) the movement isn't smooth and it jerks a lot, for example when zooming in it's as it you're pressing the button to zoom then letting go and...
Thanks for your message
I replaced the faceplate and socket and it's working again, not sure how it randomly stopped but it's working now so i'm happy.
But another issue has come up, as long as the cable is connected from the switch to the router then one of my cameras stops working and I...
i get request time out when trying to ping the cameras
the new ip camera ip address is in sequence so e.g. 192.168.50 then 51, then 52, etc
i disconnected the new camera to see if it would make a difference but it didn't, i'll try it again though.
thanks for your help
hi,
i've had my dahua cameras and nvr plugged into a switch that is connected directly to my router, everything was working fine until today when i connected another camera directly to the router, now for some reason i can't access my cameras or nvr via the web browser. the nvr can still see...
Does anyone have an issue where it doesn't show snapshots, the push notification comes through fine but it says 'no permission' when it opens the snapshop. The live view feed from the notification works fine as does the playback?
The floodlight takes 230v. The plan was if the trip wire is crossed to activate the flood light for around 30seconds to a minute. I don't want to use a light with a pir as it'll go off all the time due to cars driving past if that makes sense
Thanks for your help.
I still don't really understand it exactly, apologies. I've got a 20w LED floodlight, how would I connect it up to the camera and mains using the opto-isolator?
The camera is a Dahua ptz SD6AL230F-HNI
Thanks guys.
Is it easy to use an opto-isolator or should I just avoid it. My brother is an electrician so I can ask him about mains wiring but he's not too familiar with electronics
hi
this question may come across stupid but i've never used the i/o ports on a camera before so don't really know what their limitations are. would it be possible to connect a LED floodlight to the i/o ports so when for example the camera detects motion is can turn on the floodlight?
thanks
