Hmmm OK. Is this something that can be added? I put my cameras in a strip down the side of my desktop. UI2 works so well because I can remove the interface and see only the cameras, whereas UI3 doesn't work so well as you can see. EX:

Ok. Are you sure the cars shadow isn't casting anything in Zone A when it drives by? Or when it drives by does it cause leaves to start blowing or something? If you don't have a zone on the street, then it won't be included in the motion rules. One other thing, I don't have much luck with...

Post screen shots of your settings again. I'm online for another 20 minutes and can try and help. My suggestion is to removed ALL zones except zone A. Make that your front lawn, and drive way. Then, your trigger settings should look like this:

To answer your original question about the black masked area when viewing a recording, try right clicking on the recording, and uncheck "Test run video through motion detector"

It's working now. I went into the servers section as you said, and my server was already there. I created a new one and switched to it. The H.264 started working. I then deleted that server, and went back to the one that was already there, and it works now also. So.. not sure what happened there.

I see your points. I don't have time in the morning to scroll through a 24 hr time frame. I only ever look at before 5am, and after 12am. That's the only time I really care about. I'll check the other hours at a later time. Just thought a nice quick button, to quickly filter the alert list...

I think I have a good idea! Check this out: At the top of the side bar, beside the calendar icon, add a new icon called OVERNIGHT (or call it whatever). This button automatically filters the alerts to only show alerts between 11pm, and 5am the previous night. I think this would be a cool...

One more keyboard shortcut request. How about a keyboard shortcut to enable / disable (toggle) the clip/alert side bar? Right now I drag the bar open, and closed, and would be sweet to have a keyboard toggle to do that. :) (Double clicking seems to open it, but doesn't close it)
