Roof of neighbor's outdoor sitting area can't handle the snow

Another neighbor said that they'd removed one of the support beams... Probably regretting that decision.

    This is Mind-blowing

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, but I don't recall any specifics being released. Now that I think about it, I believe the head injury I mentioned earlier was in a different accident that same day, not this one. Iowa DOT shares video of scary crash to remind drivers to move over for...

    This is Mind-blowing

I live very near this and happened to be listening to a scanner application that day. The trailer was carrying at least one motorcycle, and for a period of time, there was a concern of a motorcyclist being injured until it was learned it was just being trailered. I think one of the pickup...

Blue Iris computer poof in the middle of the night - any ideas what happened?

I had an issue where my Blue Iris PC was crashing almost every day. Thought it was power-related and bought a replacement as well as added a backup (PC is in a server configuration where two power supplies can be added). Finally figured out that the NVIDIA graphics driver was the culprit...

    Memory leak in latest update?

This latest update is causing Blue Iris to continuously chew up more and more memory per Task Manager. Just started it's using around 21% of my RAM, and when I just restarted the app it had climbed to around 81%. I am using Deepstack with start/stop selected, but not facial recognition...

BI Mobile working on all devices except one

I’m having the same issue that you describe when using my iPad. Works fine on my Android phone. I only noticed this issue with the latest version of the iOS app. As you describe, when I select the camera icon there is a quick “blip” of the camera screen. It works the same way for a couple of...

Yet Another Free Extension for Blue Iris Adding AI Object Dectection/Reduction in False Alarms/Enhanced Notification of Activity/On Guard

I think I’m seeing this same thing. When I first start OnGuard I get one notification of a car, but then no more. If I review and analyze the images with vehicles they show that the vehicle was recognized, just no notification. It does seem that I still get notifications if a person passes by.

Continuous video recording stored in varying file sizes?

BI has started giving me random file sizes for stored videos from continuous recording. I haven't changed anything in the configuration. Some files are as short as a few seconds. Few, if any, are hours long as they used to be. Thanks for any thoughts as to what has happened and what to do to...

    Amazon 2 Package Toss Delivery

I'm fortunate to have an awesome UPS delivery guy. He leaves all packages behind a bin that sits on my porch. Once had a large package that he took around to the back stairs of my house. USPS people are hit or miss. Had one who tossed a replacement hard drive onto the porch. Fortunately it...

Are these attempts to access my router-based VPN?

Yesterday I saw a bunch of activity from Australia-based IP addresses in my router system log. Today I’m seeing addresses from the Russian Federation. They seem to be failed attempts to access OpenVPN. Is my assumption correct, and, if so, is this something to be concerned about? Are there...
