I am looking for some suggestions for a really good security camera that has Color at Night - Low Light; 8MP Minimum (or more). I don't know much about current models for Hik and Dahua or if another manufacturer has come on the scene.

Yeah, i used it for a long time, then swapped it for a higher resolution one. I found one that worked. I used the Dahua IPC-A35 RTSP. I don't recall using that one, but it works so i am not complaining.

So I am checking the SMS messages and it looks like it is tagging stuff as PERSON activity. Here are a few of the images that are sent. Some have no vehicle or person in them, others, all I see is the car. It might be seeing the driver?

Okay, let me check that out. I might be, lol. That's right, I just checked, I don't have the vehicle detection checked, that is what was throwing me, by this time, after over a year, it should know what a vehicle is and not send me alerts on them, since I don't have Vehicle checked in Trigger/AI.

Is there a way to tell Sentry to only send alerts for humans? I have it on a few cameras, but I can't find anywhere I can tell it (on the Sentry Website) only trigger on people. Or maybe I don't have it set up properly and those things are designated in Blue Iris? I don't recall seeing that...

Ah, I found it. You have to maximize it in the browser, then hit the maximize square icon in the lower right to expand it to just the cameras, none of the Streaming Quality, PTZ or Profiles.

That gets ride of the PTZ section, but not the Profile Status. I am trying to squeeze that last little bit so it is only the cameras. I had it once before, or I believe I did, but damned if I can recall how I did it.

Is there a way to remove the PTZ section in the UI3? I just want the cameras to display while in fullscreen mode.

Bingo, that was it. It was enabled (I guess on the latest version?) I turned that off, opened the camera settings. Set the password, and opened it back up and it is working fine. I was even able to enable it again and it still works. Thank you!

Well, I am not saying it isn't possible, but I had never had a cheap camera that insisted on ONVIF at first. I was kind of hoping it was related to that camera at first. I'll dig through the logs and see if anything sticks out. I run SSL certificates on everything and separated VLANs for...

It's not the keyboard, I know that. Hacking, I haven't seen any signs of being hacked, they would have to get past the firewalls and VLANs and all that. I am not sure what they would do to cause the password corruption though if someone did.

You can always use Windows Scheduler if you want to force windows to reboot BI.

Mine pops up on the server, but I view it all remotely through the Website, so I don't get any errors or issues when I view stuff that way. I do see it when I log in to the server, but I just say NO to the prompt and it doesn't seem to impact Blue Iris, granted, I am running BI as a service, so...
