Search for suspect in Evansville Walmart. For 12 minutes, the suspect would fire a few rounds at police, then run to a different location in the store, trying to evade police.
The situation was over in 12 minutes from first 911 call.

Seems a stupid way to go about this. Send someone to the CCTV control room, and get them to guide the rest of the Police to the suspect. No nasty suprises that way and if the Police can approach from either end of an isle, the person watching can tell them which way the person is facing and thus which end to assault from. Far less risky than searching a cluttered store completely blind with areas you can be ambushed from at any second.
