have you restarted the pc? are you did you set blue iris to record direct to disk for all cams? are most of your cameras h.264?
restarted numerous times. Blue Iris and my acti E33 do not play well together. I can only run that camera under Port 6002 setting in BI. However the camera setting itself is H.264. My Dahaus 2mp domes are under RTSP in BI, encoding in cameras is H.264. My Hikivisions 3mp domes are also RTSP in BI, encoding in cameras are H.264. The remaining cameras are all 1mp cameras. Yes, all D2D. Thanks

Email support.

BI tools keeps restarting the BI app when ever I disable/enable either one of my Foscams. I haven't tried the LTS yet, I keep it on all the time.Freeze.JPG

Can someone confirm if acceleration works or not after they disconnect their monitor & restart through a remote desktop?

Thanks Wolf, that corrected the symptom. I lost some of my gained CPU usage from the update though.

Glad if worked for you. You could try switching back to D2D and mess around with the settings or leave it to the experts and log it with Ken through the new "log a support call option" ;)

Not working for me here. Setting hardware acceleration and restarting the service, BI has no signal for all six of my hikvision 2332 cameras. Disabling hardware acceleration and restarting the service and everything is back to normal.

/edit i7 4790 here.

Funny, I have one Hikvision 2332 and about 10 more 2032 cameras and they all worked just fine with this. Do you have a dedicated graphics card in your system, or AMD/Nvidia integrated graphics? Any of these might be overriding the intel GPU. If not, I suggest you download the latest graphics driver from intel's website.

No discrete card, latest drivers. Opened Handbrake and it gives me the H.264 QSV option, so quick sync is enabled.

As a datapoint, I have not seen any change as of yet, gpu-z does not show any utilization

i7-2600K
8 Hikvision cameras
Direct 2 Disc on all 8.

No other video cards,
QuickSync enabled

Yes I rebooted after the upgrade.

Did you enable hardware acceleration in blue iris options?

Thank you for the response!

Yes, I checked the box in the options.
At first I assumed that was the default option so I left all of the cameras on default.
Then after seeing no change, i went and set all of the cameras to YES and still did not see any change.

To clarify, there an option to activate acceleration in blue iris options, cameras, not just in the camera properties.

When turning this on all of my Hik cams go blank. I updated drivers and rebooted, at first I thought it was due to RDP but I tried straight from the box and no dice.

This is exactly the same issue that I have with my Hik & Dahua cams.

I'm not having this issue with Hik or Dahua, I have both. But my Axis 7014 will not work with HA turned on...

4.2.8.3 the extra 8 pixels are gone. :)

Edit: I'm seeing a further improvement in CPU usage too.
